Marvel Legends Secret Wars Retro Wave 2 Absorbing Man Video Review And Images

Honestly this isn't for me, I just think it's a let down, after what they proved they could give people with the BAF, this would have benefited being a potential Deluxe, His powers are so important to his whole look, he just looks like a roid rage Dick Tracy villain without them being depicted, this needed swappable arms, or even if they wanted to be bare bones like they did, give him at least one arm that is powered up, this is just lackluster to me, which is fine since I'm still very happy with the BAF (ball jointed legs aside), that figure was great for it's time, and this proves they can't do better currently. But that all being said to everyone who wants an Absorbing man in their collection I guess this covers it, at least for the time being, so I'm happy for them, I mean hey if I had not gotten the BAF, I'd have sadly settled for this...but it's just not fantastic really.

I'm happy with this one.Not saying effects wouldn't have been nice, but this is pretty much all I really needed out of a classic Absorbing Man anyway - for my MoE.

Hoping they revist Zemo with some tweaks & throw him on this card

Everyone is hatin on this figure. I really like the powered down version. Yes, it woulda been nice to get some swappable parts as a deluxe offering, or a three pack of regular, totally concrete, and a shiney totally metal version. But just like we need a powered down Human Torch, I needed a regular guy strolling with his girl version of Crusher Creel.
