Marvel Legends Mephisto Video Review And Images

I ultimately canceled my Mephisto order. I had a vet bill that came up.Have to take priorities.

Yeah I hoped I wasn't alone in thinking this, I thought I could just be being picky, but no he's lacking in that department, and it's critically hurting his what should be imposing presence.

I have not opened mine yet, but I am excited to, I just have a massive backlog, and well here's my honesty, is this actually the Mephisto after all of these years I would have dreamed of? No...While it is good, and so amazing to finally get this guy, I think this figure just doesn't have enough in terms of the figure it's self, and I wish he was more menacing in the face department, there is something too stylized, Mephisto is supposed to be pretty scary, I'm not scared of this guy, he looks fairly meek, I dunno..he just could have been a bit buffer and more substantial....Ah I digress, Thanks Bro for finally hooking us up with a Mephisto, it was a real thing, I also myself while I apperciate the whole throne thing, it looks good, they put a great effort into it, I don't personally care about having it, I get it was a way to pad up this release for MTO purposes but I just don't need it, I would have liked a cheaper option sans Chair.

I just think I always pictured The Ideal Memphisto legend for me a more classic look, I liked the pink face...I'll stop now.

Yeah, I'm not sure if we can discern a pattern off of 4 offerings, but it definitely seems like one a year will be X-Men, if not X-Men "97. I feel like an Avengers offering is due since Dragon Man is considered FF, and Mephisto is, well everyone, but probably a Ghost Rider offering. I'm hoping for a Thor based offering of either Mangog, or Volstagg. But considering the Sentinal size as a possibility, I would also love a red and blue Goliath, or yellow and blue Goliath, or the Masters of Evil version in the two tone brown. Not sure what could tie into Doomsday, or if they'll even try. But yeah, it's really up in the air imo. Zero clues.

While the throne and head sculpts are amazingthe throne probably has the most paint apps Hasbro has used in recent yearsMephisto's torso looks mid and feels unfinished. They didn't even bother to give him proper torso articulation. They could have easily integrated a ball joint into the waist. If it's a premium figure, it should have at least as much torso articulation as the average Marvel Legends figure. So yeah, for the price they're asking, it's not a good figure.

Got mine yesterday. Haven't had a chance to set it up yet, but he looks great. I didn't know he came with two different heads. I'll be using the one he's advertised with.
