I think sometimes we just gotta take a deep breath and love figures, and try and forget somebody making decisions isn't a funny fellow with ideas that might not be top dog.........never forget "we googled this character" never forget that.

LOL. That is something I will never forget. As a matter of fact the official name I use to refer to anything regarding Hasbro's Favorite Research Resource is "Hasbro's Favorite Research Resource" SMH. Multi-Billion dollar company and nobody can either afford or figure out how to open a comic book or at the very least a subscription to Marvel Unlimited. And is Jesse Falcon even with Marvel anymore? Isn't product research and development supposed to be his area of expertise? Can they not afford to get at least on person from the team on product accuracy?

Fair enough. And to be fair this is the best of what I consider a bad bunch. Which is the only reason I bought it. Aesthetically it is pleasing. I guess I just get frustrated with the weird choices Hasbro does at times and for seemingly no good reason. I mean they basically spent resources that they could have used elsewhere retooling and actually regressing an already overly used and oddly proportioned body model that they originally used to replace the Spider-Man mold before the RYV model. What I'm really more afraid of is since they went through the trouble of the retool how many times is this thing going to show up in the future.

I get the feelings and I get the gripes, but you must never forget it's Hasbraz and you know how they play, I mean none of their decisions with things like this should be in the least startling, they love flip-flopping around with their tooling and buck use, just because we can have "definitive" buck on a Spider-Man one day, doesn't certainly mean it's showing up the next day, case in point....We got a Retro Spidey-Buck...fast forward a few months and they put Spider-Man 2099 back out on the scrawny what in the world would you pick that for him buck, and not go with the better choice..? yeah you know it.

the guy who paints MCU spidey web lines has been on vacation for a decade, and apparently they ran out of yellow paint for a Jean.............sometimes the math just isn't mathing, and you gotta not try to make it make sense, just enjoy plastic people.

I disagree on this being "trash" that's harsh, sure from a tooling stand point you can claim some issues, but from a visual and aesthetics stand point this figure is beautiful IMO, it's the only figure from this recent batch of Game figures I want, it's a really stand out very cool Spidey figure, and one I hoped we'd see in figure form eventually, I get there are hang ups for some in posibility but I don't like the "trash" statement, I adore this figure and I'm happy with how it looks and glad to get it, it's got a ton of charm, The head sculpt is awesome and the colors are beautiful.

I've very excited about this one myself.

This thing is trash. First off it's not a modified Vulcan model. It's an unnecessarily modified Sunfire model. And the only reason for ever using the Sunfire model is because of the butterfly joints. So naturally Hasbro eliminates them for this figure. But for what crazy reasoning do they basically create a partially new torso and limit mobility on a Spider-Man based figure? I can't be for the spider logo. First since when has Hasbro not changed the costume deco to accommodate the articulation and second it doesn't even look like the butterflies would have effected it. This is crazy. What's even crazier is I actually bought this because of the head sculpt which is also terrible. Whatever fiery pit this thing comes from it needed to stay there. I would say it's just a cheap money grab but they actually created a new torso for this thing.
