At a special San Diego Comic-Con panel, Wizards of the Coast revealed new cards from Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man. Launching globally on September 26, 2025, the set brings Marvel’s Spider-Man and his most infamous foes and friends into Magic: The Gathering.
During today’s panel, fans in attendance were given a first look at some of the spectacular cards coming to the set, including:
● Showcase Scene cards, which combine to form a stunning scene that looks like it came straight out of a comic book.
● Art from iconic Spider-Man comic covers by artists such as Steve Ditko, featured on cards inspired by iconic characters.
Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man marks the beginning of a new chapter in the Magic | Marvel collaboration, following the fan-favorite Secret Lair drop earlier this year and at the end of 2024. This set invites players into a web of thrilling encounters, with cards featuring Spider-Man, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, along with villains including Venom, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and more.
Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man brings the excitement of high-flying action and heroics to dynamic card treatments through original artwork and gameplay mechanics that reflect Spider- Man’s agility, ingenuity, and unbreakable sense of responsibility.
Additional previews and product details will roll out beginning the first week of September ahead of the set’s worldwide release on September 26. Fans can follow along at Magic.Wizards.com and join the conversation on social media using #MTGxMarvel.

Good looking set of figures. Still tempted by Sunspot. But Im sure they will eventually get around to the whole New Mutants team in the classic uniforms, and maybe that version of Sunspot will include both powered-up and powers-off parts.
Finally broke down and ordered Sunspot the other day. The more I see him the more I like the figure. I probably should order that Jubilee too. It's weird that some, like the Cable and Logan, look so cartoony to me and then other can totally hold up in a regular ML display.
Emma looks really bad without her cape. I will probably end up using a custom white Lilandra cape, much like I did for my custom Emmas.

Expect to pay them going forward, but keep paying attention to the news. Everything about cross-border commerce is fluid, and changing literally every week.I got an order in from BBTS a couple of weeks ago, paid $30 GST/PST on $110 CDN value ( and I assume some tariff fees, I haven't check the declaration slip). It arrived from USPS/Can Post.A week after that got two orders from Amazon.com that came by Purolator, I have not gotten an invoice for added fees.............yet.

Got my order in!! I really like the update to Cyclops. I also like everything about Jean except the mask...it just doesn't look right to me. I may cobble together a different head but for now Im just happy they updated her.
I pre-ordered Cyc and Jean. That version of Cyclops needed an update from the Herculean Toybiz version with the bad wash on it. For me, this is his absolute look, not the Jim Lee version, so this was a no-brainer.

When I say Hasbro has raised the MSRP it means the new price set by the toy manufacturer as opposed to an individual retailer setting the price which means yes this is now the new price for standard Marvel Legends for any new product released here on out. I am sure Tariff's are a primary reason for Hasbro raising the price as they have seemingly been waffling to on whether to raise prices for several months now, but that I can only speculate about.
Interestingly, the price for Anakin and Obi-Wan dropped to 24.99 on Pulse at some point. I'm not sure Hasbro knows what it is doing on prices just yet.
I ordered the Cyclops and Marvel Girl two pack. I hope some of you will buy Cyclops's at an inflated price so I can recoup some of the $50 I spent on the Rogue two packs.
