Muppets Penguins:
OMGCNFO.com Exclusive
Review By: Rain
The following is a review of the end of what I think is the best toy line to date... Palisades Muppets... Though the line will not go on the memories will stay in the mind of the collectors who loved this line.
Ok so lets start off with the con exclusive figures. The fans demanded it and OMGCNFO.com stepped forward and answered the call... The Muppet Penguins!!! These penguins have been all the fans of the Muppet's line have talked about from day one. Penguins have been a long standing tradition in the work of the Muppets, they have been seen in both the of Muppet TV series as well as every single Muppet movie to date... Wether they are being thrown around by the bigger muppets or just ice skating, if it's Muppet related you will see a penguin someplace. They are available only as a Con exclusive of through OMGCNFO's website in a two-pack.
Now the figures themself are a great scult and likeness to their Puppet counterparts. Each one has 5 POA. The wings are ball jointed and the head and legs rotate freely. The figures have no real space for added articulation so 5 points is more than enough.
They appear to be in the proper scale to the rest of the toy line as well.
Packaged in the box is also are two of the black circle display stands that most of the other Muppet figures are packaged with... With the exception of the earlier seires that came with the Muppet logo bases and the one series that was void of stands all together. With an $11.00 price tag on an exclusive con figure you really can't complain about a lack of accessories... So I'm not going to... besides penguins have no hands, so they couldn't hold anything anyway. Personally these figures are in my top five favorites released in the line. I have always loved the penguins and am so stoked that they were made... even if it was just an exclusive. There isn't really much that can be said about the Penguins beyond this.
