I live in the FAR Northern suburbs of Chicago, IL and the Targets around here SUCK! Every time I go into the Target in Gurnee, I'm greeted by the same 9 DCUC figures from the first wave, and now they only have 4 figs from the Legends line from like two waves ago (Danger, X3 Colossus, & Jean Grey). I haven't seen wave two of the DCUC there yet, and only two or three Red Hulk figures (black Spidey, and I forget the others, where's Union Jack? Spiral? COME ON!!!) Meanwhile, the Wally World in Round Lake Beach had two complete sets of that exclusive wave (Ares I think). I picked up one of each. Target is blowing it here, or else they have scalpers that work there.
If anyone needs a Spiral, I can get one for you if you're interested in a trade for Fin Fang Foom She-Hulk.
I've been watching this thread, not really caring about the schemes to get one up on the "man."Then those schemes affected me. I went into my local Target today to see if they got anymore Legends as I am missing Adam Warlock (My Red Hulk is gimpy until I find Warlock, and you wouldn't like Red Hulk when he's gimpy). Lo and behold I find three figures that weren't there on Friday when I was last in (including two yellow Wolverines and black Spidey): X3 Juggernaut (missing the buil-a-figure parts) X3 Jean Grey (missing the buil-a-figure parts) X3 Colossus And here's how this affects me. My Target will not get any new figures until the stock on Legends figures hits a certain level. Now that these "returns" are clogging the shelf, it's going to be a while (if at all the way Target orders their exclusives) before I can find an Adam Warlock. I did the smart thing and brought up the missing parts figures to an associate (and hopefully he doesn't just put them back on the shelf). So here's my two cents. Returning older figures for profit without a receipt is returns fraud however you want to slice it. I did ten years in retail and am actually shocked that Target doesn't give the cheapest price in the last 30 days without a receipt (Toys R Us used to do this when you returned something without a receipt). This would at least keep the shelves free of older crap while the new stuff flowed in. Seriously, this return scam hurts your fellow collectors, whether you care or not. I just wanted to post this again so you scam artists can read it twice. This happens everywhere, new stuff doesn't go out until the old stuff goes and no one can get new stuff if you keep playing these scam games. I hope reps from Target and Wal-Mart read this board, but I doubt they do. As for the wave itself, I stopped collecting everything Hasbro because the way they are handling all of their major lines (ML, Indiana Jones, Star Wars and G.I. Joe) are a joke, so I'm not looking.
i actually like the joes, im just getting into star wars but i was never a indiana jones fan. but i have a feeling hasbro will get better, but i wouldnt bet one cent on it.

what the??? 5 packs?!!! what are they??, I'm curious now, please elaborate zacjacdan
As we all know we are about to loose the BAF waives. I think after the Red Hulk, Ares, & Nemesis waves we are done with our collecting of the individual figures any way. We will only be seeing the 2-packs, and 5-packs, which is pretty cool still. As long as they stay $20 and $35. I say get what you can while you can. :cyclops: Marvel should have stuck with Toybiz, Hasbro sucks.
