hey guys jesse said that the news will come at sdcc not toyfare. and they showed what was coming for the wolverine movie. i doubt that they will do a special movie line because most just look the same. hasbro cant do actors likeness so they dropped that off and leaved the 6 insh wolverine figure to marvel select. wolverine is the only marvel movie this year.

damn just thought on that when spidey 4 comes then the figs will be 3 3/4. hasbro said that there future movie lines will be in this scale. well thanks hasbro for ruining my movie collection. i hope marvel select does some spiderman4 movie figs.

I'm almost a movie-figures-only-collector so that just sucks.

That's good news and you're right Toyfair was where it was all at last year. I'm staying hopeful - partly because Hasbro hit out some good waves with Rulk, FFF and Ares and partly because Jesse is a more reliable source given past info than some CEO statement.

5 to 6 waves per year, hasbro said a year ago and look where we stand. one crappy wave that is in production for over a year and daredevil is still small. fans will be excited what we had planned for the legends line. remember those words guys?

At CoolToyReview, they said that Hasbro was holding most of its stuff for ToyFair, which is next week. It seems Hasbro wanted to give con-goers something, so they showed more of the MUs, and I believe I also saw the second wave of two-packs in some of the photos. But that's it. They didn't even show any Mighty Muggs, which are very successful, or anything at all movie-related, and we know how Hasbro loves to push their movie toys.

We also know Hasbro hasn't decided to drop everything for MU, so this clearly should indicate that they're going to show more at ToyFair. (Not to mention, wasn't Jess Falcon's comment about big ML news related to ToyFair, not NYCC?)

Last year, I believe ToyFair was in February and NYCC was in April instead of clumped together like this year with NYCC coming first. Hasbro unveiled most of the new figures at ToyFair, then displayed it again at NYCC. It seems ToyFair is their preferred pre-SDCC venue for rolling out the new stuff, which makes sense for a toy company.

I'm sure they've given up on the 5-6 waves a year, but I do have faith that new MLs are on the way.

I have totally lost all hope for Hasbro. I MIGHT pick up the Spider-man Classics Juggernaut so I dont have to pay 80 bucks for the good one. Just BTW, the DCUCs look AMAZING.

and they just showed:

dcuc (one wave)

movie masters (3 new figures)

ghostbusters (3 figures)

masters of the universe classics (4 figures)

this is not a lot and most are pretty happy with mattel. i know that i am more then excited to get them. all the fans needed was one little new legends wave and most would have been patient. even until 2010. i know i would have. marvel should take the 6 insh rights and give them someone else. hasbros 3 3/4 figs are great but they dissapoint a lot of fans there way. 5 to 6 waves per year, hasbro said a year ago and look where we stand. one crappy wave that is in production for over a year and daredevil is still small. fans will be excited what we had planned for the legends line. remember those words guys?
