Even though Iron Man 2 doesn’t open in the United States until this coming Friday, movie goers overseas got to see the movie this past weekend, and the movie did very well according to initial international box office tallies, it looks like Marvel’s golden avenger will bring in $100 million in ticket sales for its first weekend.
Some are forecasting that the movie will bring in somewhere between $120-$140 million in ticket sales here in the states this coming weekend which will make for a very nice opening weekend for both Marvel and it’s new parent company Disney.
Check back to ENI late tomorrow night as we will be posting our own movie review for Iron Man 2 and be sure to get your tickets if you haven’t already for the movie which opens in theaters nationwide on May 7, 2010.
