Iron Man 2 Continues Strong Showing At The Box Office With A Take Of $52 Mill On Friday

Iron Man 2 which opened in theaters here in the United States yesterday had a strong performance for it's opening day with an estimated box office take of $52.4 million.

It will need to bring in over $158.4 million for the weekend if it wants to take the record for the largest domestic box office weekend opening, a record currently held by super hero rival Batman with the "The Dark Knight" from Warner Bros., which opened back in the summer of July 2008.
