Marvel To Do Short Films?!?

Marvel To Do Short Films?!?

Jay Cochran - June 21, 2010
Rumors are a buzz thanks to the site Latino Review, who is reporting that Marvel Entertainment is planning to do a series of short-films to screen before their full-feature films. These 10 minute short-films will feature lesser known characters in the Marvel Universe, exposing them to many viewers for the first time.

We've heard rumors in the past that Marvel wanted to do smaller budget movies after the Avengers with lesser known characters like Black Panther, Luke Cage, Dr. Strange, etc., but it was assumed these would be full-feature movies. Of course if the news about these 10 minute "short films" turns out to be true, these might be a useful tool for the studio to gauge which characters are deserving a a full 2-hour movie for future projects.
