Court Upholds Decision For Wesley Snipes' 3 Year Prison Sentence

by Jay Cochran
July 17, 2010
Actor Wesley Snipes who was convicted back in 2008 for three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file his income tax returns and was sentenced to a three-year prison sentence got some more bad news yesterday thanks to a decision made by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta who upheld the decision on federal tax charges.

Snipes Attorney's attempted to argue that the ruling was "unreasonable" and that the actor should have been granted a hearing to decide whether the venue for his trial should have been held in New York instead of Florida.

No comment or statement has been issued by Snipes or his Attorney's on the latest setback for the actor.
