Captain America, Transformers, Thor & More To Have Super Bowl Commercials

THR reports that the following movies have been confirmed for airing commercials during the big game.

- Super 8
- Transformers: Dark of the Moon
- Rango
- Thor
- Captain America: The First Avenger
- Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
- Cowboys & Aliens
- Limitless

Strangely enough it appears that Fox and Warner Bros. will be sitting on the sidelines this year and will not air any commercials for their movies during the Super Bowl which will be broadcast February 6 on the Fox network. The Super Bowl which costs around $3 million per 30-second spot has become a prominent place for studios to promote their big block-buster flicks in recent years and it appears this year's game will have more movie spots than ever before.
