UPDATE: 99ohm99 lets us know these were at the 2019 Comic-Con in Thailand.
It was just
last week that we saw the promotional images for all the figures in
Hasbro's upcoming
6" Marvel Legends Venom themed wave, and now it looks as if someone has already scored those figures, at least two of them anyway. Thanks to Instagram user
99ohm99 we have in-hand images for the
Venom Build-A-Figure as well as the female symbiote
Scream figure. Not sure where in the world 99ohm99 is located, how he got these figures and if he has the rest of the figures in the wave. Right now these are the only two he has posted images of.
Scream looks pretty much as I remember from when I saw her at Toy Fair back in February. This is the first in-hand look at the Venom Build-A-Figure though and I have to say my first impression is that it doesn't look nearly as big as I thought it would from the promotional image we saw last week. It's still hard to tell exactly how big he is since we don't have anything showing a size comparison yet, but just doesn't quit seem as menacing here. The jaw also appears to be static with no articulation so hopefully you like that tongue out look for the character.
Just to recap the remaining figures in the wave include
Venom and
Carnage with alternate unmasked heads,
Poison, Spider-Ham with
Pork Grind Alternate Head and modern
Typhoid Mary.
I am sure it is a matter of time before in-hand images of those figures show up somewhere online. For now check out the images for
Scream and the
Venom Build-A-Figure below.
