Marvel Studios The First Ten Years Marvel Legends Iron Man 3 Figure 3-Pack In-Hand Images

A big thanks to Geoff from British Columbia for sending us these in-hand images for the new Marvel Studios The First Ten Years Marvel Legends Iron Man 3 Figure 3-Pack from Hasbro. This set features 6" figures on Iron Man Mark XXII, Pepper Potts and Trevor (The Mandarin).

The Mark XXII armor which is more commonly refereed to as the Hot Rod armor seems to be a repaint of Hasbro's War Machine figure and Pepper comes with an alternate Iron Man arm to re-create the seen in Iron Man 3. The Pepper Potts figure headsculpt also fits on the Rescue figure which in the comics was the armor Pepper briefly wore. The third figure in this set is of Trevor Slattery who was played by actor Ben Kingsley in the movie. Trevor of course pretended to be the Mandarin in the movie but was nothing more than a washed up actor. As lame as the character in the movie ended up being the figure still looks pretty good.

This set was originally slated to be released as a Toys R' Us exclusive here in the United States and has recently started showing up at Toys R' Us stores in Canada. With TRU going out of business here in the US it remains unclear how, when or where Hasbro will get this out to folks stateside. The most likely outcome is it will eventually be offered to online etailer to carry similar to what we have been seeing with the other Marvel Legends TRU exclusives.
