Jay Cochran - July 13, 2018
Shown below is an in-hand image gallery for the new 2018 SDCC Exclusive Marvel Legends Series Red Skull Figure & Electronic Tesseract from Hasbro.

The set features a MCU 10th Anniversary 6" Red Skull with mini Tesseract to hold as well as a 3.63-square-inch light-up Tesseract. The set will come in unique packaging and cost $59.99.

A brilliant scientist obsessed with domination, Johann Schmidt leads the HYDRA-Abteilung division, a secret unit that specializes in artillery and harnessing the power of the Tesseract to create super weapons. Bent on achieving ultimate power, Schmidt injects himself with an early version of the Super Soldier Serum and suffers the side effects, including deformation and a stunning crimson visage.

Imagine Johann Schmidt claiming the title of Red Skull and controlling the power of the Tesseract with this Marvel Legends Series Red Skull figure and Tesseract pack, as seen at San Diego Comic Con 2018. At 3.63 square-inches, the included Tesseract lights up and features alternating light patterns, as well as a seamless battery install for an authentic look and feel. Pack also includes a 6-inch-scale Red Skull figure, featuring Captain America: The First Avenger-inspired design and premium articulation and design.

Hopefully, we'll have the chance to buy the Tesseract loose in the future. Bring the rest of the gems!

But does the cube grant wishes???

I don't have the WWII Captain America so having a Red-Skull is kinda pointless for me. The tesseract looks cool but I'll pass if I miss it at Canada's toyExpo.

After watching the review I can 100% vouch for this set. Is the ebst set out of the two. The Tesseract by itself it's awesome and the Red Skull figure is a plus.

It probably be sold out very quickly.

Great in hand photos. The box and the Tesseract sell this set for me. I will have a look for this sdcc set on eBay but I will not pay stupidity inflated scalper prices, Don't get me wrong I like the box,Tesseract and the red skull with trench Coat but if I can't get this set I am quite content with the Standered release 10 year Red Skull figure.

Trench coat look is definitely the better of the two offerings. Extra bonus, you get a nice Tesseract prop.

Id love to get my hands on the Tesseract prop, by itself. But, all told, this isnt a bad looking set. Even if it is a pass for me.

I told myself I would pass on this since I already have the single card Red Skull on preorder and that figure looks good. But seeing these photos, especially SDCC Red Skull next to a Hydra soldier, now I think its a must. Plus the tesseract will look cool on top of my book case.

cool set

The price point is a little steep so I'm fine with the hydra / single release for now. Though this exclusive looks really cool, the other one is actually more functional especially for acba / photo display.
