Looks like we will be getting a Venom movie action figure after all thanks to this upcoming Wal-Mart exclusive Venom movie Blu-ray set that will include a unique Venom figure.
While specific details on the figure are light, based on the image of the blu-ray set released by Sony, the figure looks to be one of Hasbro's basic 6" ones with the 5 points of articulation similar to the comic book based one Hasbro recently released as a 2-pack.
The Blu-ray set is currently available for pre-order on the Wal-Mart
website now for $27.96.
Did you all miss that it says RETRO action figure? like before articulation was much of a thing? I mean its still ugly but most of those figs from the time its emulating were. Very strange and cheap that they are going the 'retro' route tho.
Marvel Legends have spoiled me in terms of the level of articulation I expect from figures. I'll have to pass on this one, unfortunately.
Even if it is a free figure, I would still feel ripped off. I know the movie venom doesn't have the Logo, but without it, it looks like a pound-shop knockoff

Wow, that is truly awful looking. Did they expect that to actually entice people to buy the Movie from them?

Glad to see they went all out on the extras... no thank you. But I do look forward to seeing it finally.

I don't even think this is made by Hasbro. I think Sony just got some random manufacturer to do this so they could sell more.
There is no chance of that fig being 6" tall. Retros are 3 3/4". The DVD Box is Approx. 6 1/2". Why don't you get these offers for the 4K? I'm already spending more for the higher quality. Throw me a bone. I'm not going to dumb it down for a figure.
