ToyBiz for me, only because I am more familiar with the costume.
its already been done!
it doesn't look too hard to do, plus I like it makes him look stockier
I think Toy Biz has the better Beta Ray Bill, just simply based on the costume choice. Otherwise, I would prefer Hasbro's articulation.

yea im really thinking of doing it. I gotta look around on ebay and check some prices . Ive never poppedML apart but I don't think it would be too bad, at least in theory!

For my money, the winner is...both! As JayC pointed out, both are quite comic accurate (for their time). Although I may have a preference for the classic look vs. the modern look, this has nothing to do with the figures. They are both worthy (pun intended!) additions to my collection!
For me, it's the Toy Biz version, and it's not particularly close. Off the top of my head I can't think of one Hasbro figure I like better than the Toy Biz version. TB just used a higher quality of plastic and used a lot more articulation, which is a big selling point for me. The one thing that Hasbro seems to do better with for the most part is paint. Hasbro does a fine job just as Mattel does for DC, but Toy Biz will always be my fave, personally. I still have all of my Toy Biz figures and usually only buy Hasbro figures if it's a character they've never made before in the 6" scale (like the recent Silver Samurai, Boom-Boom, etc.)
Both are good but I am going to go against the grain here and say I like my toy biz better.
Classic look all the way but as far as everything else is concerned, Hasbro modern version all the way. TB BRB can hardly stand with those wobbly hip balls & huge cape. Hope Hasbro is planning on re-doing BRB in his classic look in the near future as I will be getting it. Can't ever beat the classics!
guys! I want to try a leg swap with this..
