Marvel Legends Stepford Cuckoos Walgreens Exclusive Figure Video Review And Images

I picked up three of these near original release.

Looked at them last weekend and all three of the figures legs have warped horribly. First figures Ive seen this happen on.

Here they are with my Emma Frost. Wasn't able to get the Pulse Con one.

Painted the eyes on one of my extra heads and stuck it on a BW body since I used that head for a Power Rangers Ranger Slayer custom.

Finally got them. The weird thing though is that I have 3 of them but only 2 of them have matching skin tones on the neck. They all have the same lot code stamp on them too. Kind of annoying as I had to buy them online so didn't even get to look to pick ones that match.

As you can see, only the middle one has matching skin color on the neck. The other two, the neck seems too pink. It's more noticeable in person.

While I don't particularly care for the Cuckoos, I will say I like the fact that they gave this figure a rotating calf feature. Usually their female figures dont get that kind of articulation and it always bothered me, so its great to see here.Also, there are hidden seams in the skirt that allow for leg movement; this same technique is used on the Dr. Doom tunic. I'm very glad to see Hasbro listening to the fans and exploring options and ideas that really make the collecting experience the best.

I've been a casual street-attire-focused collector starting with Winter Soldier. This figure alone has made me jump in a serious binge and now I'm registered. I've gotten 12 Cuckoos from eBay thus far. The one nice local Walgreens I had closed down a year ago. I think my goal is 16 so they can be a 4x4 squad. I'll mix withall sorts of suitable heads.

I'm happy they used my favorite outfit and included 3 heads and extra hands. If more characters had 2-3 heads and hands, I would buy more. I agree with leokearon: I just wish they didn't have powered up eyes. I'll experiment to see if I can at least add irises.

Maybe someday they'll make The Gifted version?! It wouldn't be too far fetched or an idea since we had Electra Netflix and comic versions released close together.

Since the release of this character, I've been buying more Legends and now either for extra heads (e.g. Invisible Woman) or other ideas.

Im not familiar with her (or them?) but, Ill keep look out.

Easy pass on the figure as I don't collect "modern X-men" but the figure looks great.
