I was never a big fan of the 2020 marvel storyline, the only one I actually thought was good was Spiderman 2099, so this is a figure Ill be passing on but those booster effects are a nice addition to the ML effects, I wish they were included in last year's 80th Anniversary Ironman, needless to say unlike this one the upcoming Warmachine figure is a figure I will be getting ADour - 2020-04-10 @ 7:09 pm

That's right, but I just don't see as many indicatives that it might come this year as there are for the opposite. I think it's better to staydefeatist like this. It'll be a welcome and sweet surprise if Hasbro proves me wrong, ngl.

You could argue that two versions of the same character would be spaced out, but there's just something about releasing an Iron Man 2020 figure when there's only three or two months left in the year. Plus, there's just something about having two different versions of Iron Man 2020 in the same year I just can't see happening. There's also Hasbro's track record for comic figures which is that they just don't make figures for characters when they're topical. Here in the United States the figure is being offered as a Walgreens exclusive with a June 30th release date. Bigpunstoybox got his in Canada a few weeks ago in the mail from EBGames. The figure comes with multiple pairs of hands, repulsor/stabilizer effect pieces and blast off blast effect pieces.Iron Man 2020 first appeared in the Machine Man limited series back in 1984 and was created by Tom DeFalco and Herb Trimpe. Inside the armor is Tony Stark's future distant cousin Arno Stark. Not bad..bright colors. Looks like more of a re-release of the 80th anniversary Iron Man with a different paint job. I'd like to see a new comic styled Iron Monger and Mandarin figs updated. ADour - 2020-04-09 @ 6:04 pm

However, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that since he will still have been an important part of the Iron Man mythos even when this event is over, we might still get a 616 Arno figure... even if getting Iron Man 2020 in 2021 or 2022 doesn't sound as appealling as getting it in 2020. Wow this looks really good. I know its a rehash, but Im a sucker for alternate realities. I especially like how they did the eyes in the helmet instead of just doing it a. Solid black line like the MU version. I wish they would have gave us an alternate head with the eyes like that for the 80th anniversary Tony.
