New Marvel Legends Scarlet Witch And Vision Set Coming In October (UPDATE - Just A Reissue)

UPDATE: Indications based on reports coming in are that this listing is just for the original MCU 2-Pack that here in the US was originally sold as a TRU exclusive a few years ago. In other words nothing to see here.

t0ytime alerts us to a discovery made by Wingorlose of a new Marvel Legends 2-pack showing up in the Canadian retailer EBGames website. The set lists a new Vision and Scarlet Witch set with a SKU 756689 and a release date of October 2, 2020.

It's not clear if this will be comic based or MCU based. The new WandaVision series will be premiering on Disney+ this year, so we could see it as a possible tie-in for that.

It is a little strange this wasn't revealed the other day by Hasbro during their PulseCon event, but they may have held this back for their next first Monday of the month reveal which will also be October 2.

Whether it's MCU or comic based, it's most likely going to be some kind of repaint of previous versions of these characters that we have gotten.

Even though it's showing up in the EBGames system, most like this will be a Fan-Channel exclusive which means it will be available at most online etailers. The price here in the US will be about $40.

While not the brand new thing some thought it would be, still its a find for those who wanted it and missed it the first go-round.

I was lucky enough to get this set when it first came out at TRU. I eventually sold it last year but regretted it. Really happy it got re-released. I actually just picked it up today from EBGames.

This does look like old stock from the first release though as the lot code/date stamp still shows that it was manufactured back in 2017. I was kind of hoping it was a new batch. Guess they had a lot of left over since TRU closed down in the US before they hit the stores in the US.

That Wanda/Vision setwas already released at TRU Canada when it first came out (IIRCthat set showedup first here in Vancouver, before anyone knew what the set would even look like, a rarity in this day and age) but yea I'm glad they're coming back for those that missed it.

Oh, man. At first I was like "Tigra? Feral? Either way, people are gonna be stoked", but then I remembered retro-carded Black Cat had been rumoured, which makes much more sense. People will be stoked about that too, I think. Obviously,I would've been happier with Feral.
