S.H. Figuarts Avengers Assemble Edition Captain America, Thor, Hulk And Iron Man Avengers Movie Figures Official Images

Jay Cochran - November 27, 2020
These new "Avengers Assemble" edition S.H. Figuarts Avengers movie figures were first announced by Tamashii Nations earlier this month during their 2020 Tamashii Nations Event, and now we have new official images of them to share with you.

The figures bring updates to their first Avengers movie figures of Thor, Captain America, Hulk and Iron Man. Updated headsculpts as well as updated accessories like a spinning hammer effect for Thor and a soft-goods cape. Thor also has some alternate hands and lightning effects that attach to his hammer.

Captain America has a scratched up shield, alternate hands and a new unmasked Steve Rogers headsculpt.

Hulk gets two headsculpts and alternate hands.

Iron Man gets an alternate battle damaged helmet and chest plate as well as various repulsor and jet boot effect pieces. He also has some other armor pieces and hands.

Look for all but Hulk to be out in April 2021. Hulk will be out in May.

Cap and Hulk look amazing, Iron man is pretty much the same any other SHF Ironmen but Thor's face is so weird looking, like it's face scan of some distorted image.

Gut reaction is that these figures are about 12 years later than anyone GAF, but on second thought, if Hasbro went back and redid all these figures with better head sculpts and updated articulation I would buy inmanana. At the end of the day, the one sticking point here is the price. The feeling from my perspective is nothing SHF does is so much better than Hasbro that it justifies me paying a 3 to 4 times price difference. They look good though, and maybe it'll inspire Hasbro to do a similar thing, but it would have to be a total upgrade and not just repackaging a very outdated figure with a new head sculpt and packaged pose like that POS "America's Ayass" version of Cap America. What a slap in the face to the customer base.
