I believe it's probably obvious they did this look for Maestro so he can fit in the Old Man Logan world and go along with OML, OMH and Spiderbatch. I'd say it's just a simple as Hasbro filling things out for that story line, so at least the Old Men can have somebody to fight. since they did just take this look directly from the pages of those books. I would bet some point down the line we still could get a more accurate Maestro, they arn't going to let up on using this great Hulk buck any time soon.

For the sake of ease they gave us a version of Meastro that nobody asked for, and all the honk websites are giving Hasbro lip service claiming this is finally the "Awesome Maestro we've all been waiting for". Does everyone concur? Is this what comes to mind when we think of the "Definitive Maestro"? Is this the one we were all expecting? Judging from what about 90 percent of the comments are, many of us were wishing he had come with his trophies, which is the version of Maestro that Toybiz accurately did. This is Maestro in name only, and it's weak and it's lazy, and this is one of the few times Hasbro did not improve on Toybiz's design. Nice try Hasbro, but this one ends up in the "L" column. My biggest problem with this thing is that it's nothing more than a damn cheap repaint. I know there's some art where he appears kinda like this, but it's really not based on anything. They just took the away route. When it went back up on Amazon at $30 I still had to pull the trigger though (that freaking free shipping) but man I was just hoping for a little bit more effort. Boots at the very least. C'mon Hasbro. I hope you at least retool some boots for Smart Hulk. Its how he appears in old man logan. And not that hulk.

As is, I'll wait for it to hit discount later this yr. It was a typo or misinformation that it was going to be $40.. its been corrected everywhere and is $30... but I feel all that you said and agree completely for that price tag. I was really hoping we were getting all of that when they mentioned the price hike.

A pass for me but glad they are doing more Hulk figures.
