UPDATE: Thanks to
FWOOSH's tatooinesandworm for uncovering more info on those listings we reported about the other day, I have some more details to share with you about them.
The biggest mystery from the listings that came from the
Everest distributor was the one that said
Marvel Villains Legends W Skull that had a product # of
F3249. Based on the info posted on
Fwoosh, it turns out that is for the upcoming
Hydra Supreme (W Skull) figure that will be part of the
Bring On The Bad Guys Wave.
Fwoosh has posted that entire wave with individual product numbers as follows:
Marvel Villains – June 2021
F2749 – Assortment UPC: 5010993835188
Unknown (BaF)
• F2796 – Dormammu (Devil Joy) – 501099384716
• F2797 – Victor von Doom (Angel) – 5010993834655
• F2798 – The Hood (Cape) – 5010993834662
• F2799 – Lady Deathstrike (Mrs Sunshine) – 5010993834679
• F2800 – Arcade (Pinball Wizard) – 5010993834686
• F2802 – AIM Scientist (Lowly Fool) – 5010993834709
• F3249 – Hydra Supreme (W Skull) – 5010993865307
Retailers usually have the option of ordering solid cases of figures from a wave, but I don't know why the Canadian distributor choose to list that figure individually.
I had previously speculated, based on the description that perhaps that was going to be a
Deluxe Maestro figure.
Maestro should be coming still, but the listing on the
Everest website was not for that one. In fact
Fwoosh has listed additional info for the
Maestro figure which I had not posted before:
F0219 – Legends Orchestra (Aug '21) – ($50) Maestro
Another mystery from the
Everest website was the listing that simply said
Marvel legends Classic Assortment with a product number of
F1005 and
UPC 5010993840021.
Fwoosh has posted additional info for that wave as well.
Legends Classic X – September 2021
F1005 – Assortment UPC: 5010993840021
Unknown (BaF)
• F1006 – Classic X 1 – 5010993839636
• F1007 – Classic X 2 – 5010993839605
• F1008 – Classic X 3 – 5010993839599
• F1009 – Classic X 4 – 5010993839582
• F1010 – Classic X 5 – 5010993839629
• F1011 – Classic X 6 – 5010993839612
• F1091 – Classic X 7 – 5010993839643
From this we can see it will be a 7 figures in the wave with a Build-A-Figure. Based on these additional product #'s. I believe this will end up being a second
Age of Apocalypse wave that has been rumored. I don't know what specific figures will be in the wave, but I am guessing
Sabretooth will be one of them.
Fwoosh also breaks down the
Fantastic Four Retro wave for us as follows:
Fantastic Four – November 2021
F0171 – Assortment UPC: 5010993842780
Retro Carded – No BaF
• F3018 – Figure 1 – 5010993842605
• F0350 – Figure 2 – 5010993842551
• F0351 – Figure 3 – 5010993842544
• F0352 – Figure 4 – 5010993842520
• F0353 – Figure 5 – 5010993842537
• F0354 – Figure 6 – 5010993842599
We still don't know the specific figures in the wave, but we can see it will have 6 figures and no Build-A-Figure, which is typical for a Retro wave.
Finally the folks at
FWOOSH have discovered additional listings I have not reported on before.
INFINITY SAGA (MCU) – Late Summer / Early Fall 2021
• F0218 – SET 6 IM1 – 5010993842681 ($69.99)
• F0189 – SET 7 THR3 – 5010993842667 ($49.99)
• F0192 – SET 10 AVN4 – 5010993842353 ($59.99)
This
Infinity Sage will be a series of
MCU based movie figures similar to the
Anniversary line Hasbro did a couple years ago. I had previously mentioned how I expected to see figures of
Quicksilver from
Age of Ultron and
Warrior Thor from
Endgame released this year. Well I am guessing they will be single releases that are part of this series. As for the listings
Fwoosh posted, I believe the
AVN4 set will be a 2-pack and the other two will be single releases. I can't say at this time what they are specifically, but from what I understand those prices listed will match up with the figures themselves, so consider that a clue.
Finally as I reported the other week, it looks like Marvel Legends prices will be going up this year. Basic figures will be going from a MSRP of $19.99 to $22.99. I've now seen this indicated from multiple sources. It looks like the final regular waves with the $19.99 MSRP will be
House of X, Disney+ wave 1, Shang-Chi, Bad Guys, and
Eternals.
Of course until
Hasbro officially confirms all of this, we will continue to treat this info as
RUMOR.
Thanks to a heads up from reader
JTPrime, we have some new
Hasbro Marvel product based listings to share with you that come via the online distributor
Everest. Most of these listings are vague on detail but do perhaps shed a few hints of what is to come. The listings of new products are as follows:
Marvel Legends 3.75 retro assortment
Product Number: F2648
EAN: 5010993842766
Marvel legends Classic Assortment
Product Number: F1005
EAN: 5010993840021
F4 Legends retro Assortment
Product Number: F0171
EAN: 5010993842780
Marvel Villains Legends W Skull
Product Number: F3249
Marvel Legends Black Widow 2 pack
Product Number: F1129
EAN: 5010993860777
So we can see that as
Hasbro previously confirmed there is a regular wave of
3.75" Retro carded figures coming to retail. I should note that there is a second listing for Retro figures with the same numbers as the first that says wave 4. I don't know if that means there will be 4 waves of Retro figures released in 2021 or not, but that is my assumption.
We also see further confirmation here of a
Fantastic Four Marvel Legends 6" Retro wave coming that has long been rumored. Still know details on what figures will see released in that one.
Looks like we are getting more
Black Widow stuff with a
2-Pack. Makes sense when you consider the movie toys came out a year ago but we are still waiting on the release of the movie for possibly later this year.
The
Marvel Legends Villains with Skull to me is the most interesting listing here. Since it doesn't say assortment I am assuming this will be a one off figure.
Based on previous info I have seen for upcoming figures, the only one that remotely seems to match is a
$50 Deluxe Maestro figure, mainly because I think of this image of him holding up an Iron Man skull.
I am not saying this listing is definitely for a
Maestro figure, but I am saying that there should be a
Marvel Legends Deluxe Maestro figure coming in 2021. Of course until
Hasbro confirms we will continue to treat that as rumor.
The final listing shown is for a "Classic" assortment of Marvel Legends which really doesn't give me enough detail to be able to fathom a guess for what they are.
Finally
NOT Marvel Legends related, but the distributor site also has several listings for
"Mech Strike" products. I assume these are more kids oriented products which do include 6" figures that are going to be based on the
Marvel Comic Book series by the same name, or at least loosely based on it.

And let's face it, Q MCU was just there to die ( and he died very well). Far as action figures go I don't needeither one, but if the price is right I'm down.
I correctly guessed that MCU Quicksilver was a goner from the first trailer when I saw Wanda dropping to her knees and letting out that primal scream. But I did thoughtthey were going to off Hawkeye as well. If ol Joss Whedon is anything its predictable.when he has a character talk about retirement, or getting out they are a goner for sure.
im really hoping that before its all said and done Hasbro would have gotten us both of MCUs Quicksilver looks from AOU ( and Wandas skirt attire now that they have figured out how to use skirts with their articulation). If a Fox one comes along Id get him too, but less particular about which look for him.

But are you guys really arguing that the barely-even-a-character Quicksilver as originally depicted in the MCUis a better character than one of the best and most celebrated characters from the Fox X-verse?

Neither one of them is anything like the Quicksilver in the comics, but one of them is a fully dimensioned, well-acted, funny, compelling character that got a show-stealing scene in at least two movies (maybe three, but I only saw Dark Phoenix once and barely remember it) and the other was basically just a plot device to spur Wanda to action. Not only is Peters the "original" Quicksilver by a year or so, but I don't think there's any question he's the better version, unless we're using "better"only to mean "closer to source material", in which case I guess the MCU version has the "I really love my sister" character trait in its favour? He's a mutant in the Fox version, which is arguably more central to the character (for most of his existence, anyway), but neither one of them has the grumpy, elitistsnarkhe's known for in the comics.
Haha no friend, dont over think it, just having fun talking toys.
While I would rather get an true MCU Quicksilver it is to finally complete that films lineup. And while I do like Johnsons portrayal better than Peters I can concede that Fox at least gave their QS a bit more to do.
Im an MCU guy so if I were given a choice, Id take their version all day. And as far as who played him better? Just personal preference, i just like Johnson better. Probably goes back to how Evan Peters played Michael Scotts obnoxious nephew in the office. I would have swatted that punk too
I like the fox one personally, but we need a proper mcu quicksilver.

@memocromaticoagreed. Mcu version was more like is comic counterpart then the comic relief that fox one was. Arrogant, rude etc.
26 minutes ago, Benn said:Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to belittle Quicksilver's depiction in Age of Ultron. It worked. He just wasn't a terribly developed character, in terms of either personality or power set. He was overshadowed in every way by Wanda.
Pretty much exactly like in the source material I agree with you, Peter's QS is more fun to watch, but he reminds me a bit of Flash, funny, happy, witty.

I actually watched Dark Phoenix again after posting that, and he was hardly in it. He saved a few astronauts, and then tried to run up some falling debris toward Jean, only to learn the hard way that she was able to process her thoughts (and thus telekinetic abilities)quickly enough to keep up with him.

I think its more about completing a lineup for the mcu, but i would agree that Fox Quicksilver was a much more memorable character, particularly in Days of Future Past.
But i will say mcu QS has grown on me, i like the bits where he unsuccessfully tries to grab Thor's thrown hammer &when he has to fire the gun in the police station to get their attention. also his needling of Hawkeye that culminates in heroically sacrificing himself is good. WIth Fox, the character showed a lot of promise in DoFP but felt like diminishing returns with each subsequent movie appearance imo. As with many of the fox characters there just didn't seem to be any consideration to giving him a character arc, just coming up with a scene or two to show off his powers.
