Last week we showed you a few items in
Hasbro's new line of
Marvel Mech Strike toys including a
Deluxe Captain America with Mech Suit and
Iron Man Gauntlet role-play-item. These are based on the
Marvel Comics book Mech-Strike limited-series. Of course this entire line is geared more towards younger kids than the adult action figure collector. The figures are 6" tall.
Since then more images from this line shown up on
Amazon including a look at the basic 6" figures like
Captain America and
Iron Man and
Black Panther. The descriptions on Amazon indicates there is also a
Hulk figure coming which has not yet surfaced online. The art work on the back of the packaging for the basic figures also shows
Hulk. The basic figures cost $9.99 each. Thanks to

Besides the basic figures, Hasbro is doing
6" Deluxe ones that feature a figure and Mech Suit. Besides
Captain America, they are doing
Iron Man and
Thanos.
Finally they are doing a couple of
role-play items which includes
Iron Man's Repulsor and
Captain America's shield. As you can see in the images this is a line that is geared more towards younger kids and not the adult action figure collector. Check out images for all of these except the
basic Hulk figure below. Look for them to be released on May 1.
This is how you stay toy collectors young.

I'd be happy with these as a kid. Pretty sweet line imo for what they are.

True. Those were all much smaller than their shells though, and were basically little rectangular blocks that fit in to much bigger shells, with the bigger parts of the vehicle or beast mode hooked on to the outer shell, as opposed to the thin, more action-figure-ish 'bots of the first year/full-sized pretenders, so I figured those were the best comparison. They could definitely figure out something better to do with the Mech Strike figure arms, though- the lack of any controls for the mech is odd, without their arms being in the mech's arms.

Not really something I'd buy, but I'm happy to see SOMEONE remembers who toys should be made for. I wish 'em all the success in the world.

To be fair, that was because the inner 'bots of the Pretender Transformers all had arms that folded behind their backs (and feet that flipped down to be fully vertical), and I'm guessing Hasbro wouldn't want the figures to be folded in to weird poses that the human body can't be put in, but it would be nice if the figure arms could at least hold on to the undersides of the mech arms in some way, so it looked like they were controlling them.

Plus it's a sneaky way to use the scrawny suit buck for like the 90th time to give us two of the civilian figures we've been asking for. Printing money, baby! Just print the money.
And yes I would willingly pay for a comic book hulkbuster, it has been far too long. And I would only buy a MCU one if it is the mark from Infinity war. I wouldn't pay for a rerelease of the age of ultron one.

I mean this is really for children so specs like that they dont give a #$## I mean I wouldn't either. But I agree that hasbro shouldn't make something like this in ML.
