We aren't sure, but we think this was in reference to his tweet yesterday. I guess a random picture of two actors who have played Spider-Man villains is just that??? The tweet and the fact 1pm ET has come and gone and we've seen no Rhino pre-orders is why we don't think we will be seeing Rhino today. Who knows maybe we will see it down the road???
Earlier today images leaked out for a new
Marvel Legends 6" Spider-Man Retro Cardback Sandman figure which will be going up for pre-order at most online etailers tomorrow (6/18) at 1pm ET. However will there be a second figure that will be going up for pre-order tomorrow? A recent tweet by Hasbro's
Dan Yun has us thinking that maybe there will be.
The tweet simply shows a clip featuring actors
Paul Giamatti and
Thomas Haden Church standing together. At first glance you might not think much of this, however when you think about how
Church played
Sandman in the original
Spider-Man 3 movie and
Giamatti played The
Rhino in
Amazing Spider-Man 2, it gets you thinking. Could there be a
Spider-Man Retro Cardback Rhino figure coming tomorrow along with
Sandman? If so then
Rhino will likely end up being some kind of store specific exclusive, but I guess only time will tell.
