Overseas company ZDToys continues to crank out new Iron Man figures and this time they are bringing us the Mark I armor from the first Iron Man movie. This one comes with pair of flame-thrower effects and a flight stand. These figure generally stand around 7" tall. Look for it to be released later this year.

I've been holding off on buying any of these MKs 1-7 (and 42) from ZD Toys until they are all re-released with LED features, since so far only the MK 3 has gotten that treatment, but I will definitely be getting this one as soon as possible for my Marvel Legends display. These might be 1/10, but I'd rather have an oversized MK 1 in my shelves than the embarassment that was Hasbro's MK 1 forThe First Ten Years line.

Exactly, if there are any figures you want to be a bit oversized it would be Iron Man. It is, after all, a man in a suit of armor. Especially the older models that were still a bit bulkier than the nanotech armors he wears now.

Good things come to those who wait. Passed on the overpriced "new figure and one overly re-used mold". This is the one I'm getting. Now if we can just get them to do a MCU Whiplash and/or Dynamo.
