Hasbro today is holding a new live-stream with the
Hasbro Marvel Legends brand team (
Ryan, Dan, &
Dwight) which you can check out below. We expect one of the main reveals for today will be the new
Marvel Legends Spider-Man themed wave which will feature figures from the upcoming
Spider-Man: No Way Home movie. That wave will be going up for pre-order tomorrow (8/27) at 1pm ET. We also expect to get an update on the
Haslab Galactus which is now fully funded with the first stretch goal featuring the
Marvel Legends Frankie Raye Nova also being unlocked as of today when the project broke 16k backers. We expect Hasbro to reveal at the very least the next stretch goal if not all the stretch goals they have planned for this project. The campaign has just over 4 days left.
We also hope to get an update with more specific info on the
MCU Eternals movie wave which was officially announced last week and that
Captain Britain figure that was revealed yesterday.
Thena for Eternals will be a Target exclusive and Ajak will be exclusive to Walmart. Kro is a deluxe figure and available everywhere along with the Giligamesh BAF wave. These should go up for pre-order at the beginning of September.
Spider-Man Marvel Legends - No Way Home Integrated Suit Spider-Man, No Way Home Black And Gold Suit Spider-Man, No Way Home J. Jonah Jameson (2 heads), No Way Home Dr. Strange, Comic Morlun , Comic Shriek using new standard female body, Gamerverse Miles Morales and BAF is Comic Armadillo.
Upgrade Suit Spider-Man figure with new unmasked Tom Holland head alternate headsculpt Walmart exclusive.
Spider-Man Iron Spider Helmet role play. This goes up for pre-order tomorrow at 1pm along with the Spider-Man wave.
Troop builders - SHIELD 2-pack pulse exclusive, no pre-order yet.
Troop Builder - Skrull pulse exclusive - no pre-order yet.
Excalibur - Captain Britain, Megan and classic Shadowcat Pulse Exclusive - No pre-order yet.
Galactus Stretch Goal #2 is Silver Surfer with new head and a effect flight stand and will need 17k backers.
For a tease they showed various display and flight stands they have released and then showed a new one that says Marvel Legends and has a place to put some kind of card on the back. The Marvel Legends logo on the stand is from the Toy Biz days. Probably teasing some kind of Toy Biz Marvel Legends tribute line.
Panel ends.
Loved the final trailer for the Eternals flick, it looks very interesting now and can't wait to see it. Also I backed Galactus and already can't wait to have this guy! I'm so happy our community backed this to the moon and back. Slow burn, but we got the job done!

Indeed it does.

The Armadillo was a surprise, but while the BAf and figures looks great there aren't any real must gets for me.
The Shield army builders are a must get...."

They'll get stock in and sold out within a week or two. I live in a town of about 60,000 in a county of about 500,000 and we have seemingly endless Super Targets, Super Walmarts and such in the area and I rarely see anything there for very long. The last peg warmers I remember are that MCU Wasp and I think Whirlwind and Cottonmouth might have both stuck around for a couple of months, but that's really been it in recent history around here... I remember the astral plane Doctor Strange figures sitting for a while but that's been a few years now.... I went to ordering all of my figures online 2-3 years ago because of exactly this, it was getting to the point where I was almost never seeing the most popular figures in the wild - no matter how often I visited the stores...
Jezz, you should live in a zone with a healthy amount of collectors, where I live, even the hot ones, last a week or two, if there are enough...

Hopefully it won't

On a mostly unrelated note, I received my pre-ordered Happy Hogan / Iron Man Mark XXI 2-pack today. That Jon Favreau figure is going to double as both Happy Hogan and as Foggy Nelson from the Ben Affleck Daredevil movie for me. I wish he had come with an alternate head so I could put one on a civilian figure with a lighter suit. I wonder how that head would look on the Mobius body? Probably too big I'm guessing, but I'm sure that I'll try it once I get Mobius...

Yeah, that's unfortunate. Maybe at least it won't be as shiny.

From the MCU? Since 2014, we've had Groot, Ultron, Hulkbuster, Giant-Man, Gladiator Hulk, Thanos X2, Cull Obsidian, Molten Man andEndgame Hulk for big BAFs, and Vulture's wings, Mantis, Okoye, M'Baku, Thor, Falcon's wings and Gilgamesh for small/lackluster BAFs. 7 versus 10, that's pretty close to an even split.
