Marvel Legends Thor Love And Thunder Figures On Sale Info And More Images - Minor Spoilers

Jay Cochran - April 11, 2022
On Saturday we got our first look at the new Hasbro Marvel Legends wave based on the upcoming Thor Love And Thunder movie thanks to in-hand images that begun surfacing online. Even though Hasbro has yet to officially announce the wave, the figures have already begun showing up at Walmart stores. The official sale date for these figures are April 26, 2022 and you can expect them to be available everywhere including places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth

Shown below are new updated in-hand images for the entire wave which comes via our friend MCUCollector who is currently working hard to get reviews up for each one. To recap this wave includes figures of Mighty Thor (Jane Foster), Groot, Gorr, King Valkyrie, Star-Lord, Ravager Thor and Thor with the Build-A-Figure being Korg in Viking Gear.

I wouldn't be surprised if some kind of Love And Thunder trailer will be coming sometime between now and April 26.

you may be right. I do recall the Giant-Man wave being a mix of comics and mcu (with Cap, Black Panther, and i think Iron Man being the mcu figures, along with the BAF) but can't remember what wave preceded it. They did not do an all mcu wave afterwards to my recollection though.

I had to go back and relook at the ML Civil War waves,

Wave One was comic based.

Wave Two was a mixture and not a complete movie wave like I thought.

Wave Three about the same.

I would have liked them to do a one wave comic based Thor wave released first giving us Skurge and maybe the warriors three. Then give us this movie wave as a follow up wave 2.

This movie would be a good way to give us Beta Ray Bill.

They could do a wave with Beta Ray Bill, the Warriors Three, Air-Walker, Sif from the fan vote, bearded Thor with armor ( or that Masterson outfit) and Surtur as the BAF

If I remember correctly I think it was with Captain America Civil War.

Nope, Black Panther was the first to have a mixed wave and then a full MCU wave

when were those days? can't remember that happening during hasbro's ML run. My recollection is that movies waves were always a mix of movie and comic figures, until they starting experimenting with all-mcu waves starting with Black Panther wave 2, then Endgame wave 3, followed by some D+ waves and now Thor L & T.

If I remember correctly I think it was with Captain America Civil War.

I do think they used to make more of an effort to get out comic versions of characters that would be appearing in movies, beforehand, so in that sense i agree. Mostly i'm thinking of various spider-man figures that came out prior to Spider-verse, but there are other pure mcu examples as well, i'm just blanking on them at the moment (need more coffee)

Its impossible to please everyone, but it does seem that the consensus here is they could've picked way better figures to make the wave. Comic accurate Beta Ray Bill and the fan favorite Sif from years ago would really have bumped up this wave, or maybe a comic accurate Executioner. Did they ever do an MCU first appearance Thor (the one time he wore his helmet)? I'm still waiting on how they work in Warriors Three. Bottom line is, once again I see that the fans have better ideas than anything else. Or, Hasbro, look at it this way...we're saying "Take My Money". If you listen to us, that is.

I found Ravenger Thor at Walmart on Sunday and tried to buy him but it got locked up at the self checkout and I was told I could not buy this yet. I shrugged my shoulders and said whatever. Hasbro had their chance to sell me this figure and they blew it so I am not interested in this wave.

That ice is getting pretty thin Hasbro. Mattel has been winning me over with Masterverse anyways.

Maybe they don't want our money....
