Hasbro Marvel Legends Instagram Live Event Coverage

Jay Cochran - May 18, 2022
Today Hasbro is holding a Marvel Legends Instagram Live on the HasbroPulse page. One of the things I expect will be shown off today is the rumored Spider-Man 60th Anniversary Marvel Legends Toei Japanese Spider Man. We will be bringing you full coverage of the event as it happens.

Marvel Legends MCU Sharon Carter from Falcon And The Winter Soldier was revealed. This will be part of the next Disney+ wave with the Infinity Ultron BAF. The other figures are Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, Moon Knight, Mr. Knght, and rumored is Ms. Marvel. There is one more figure that should be coming in this wave. Will be up for pre-order tomorrow at 1pm ET at our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

Also shown is the Retro Sentinel figure to go up against 3.75" figures.

Marvel Legends Retro Amazing Spider-Man Bag-Man will be a Target exclusive. Going up tomorrow at 1pm ET. TRU in Canada but not going up for pre-order tomorrow.

Marvel Legends Retro FF Cardback Fire Lord.

Iron Man Retro Cardback Warmachine which is a repaint of the modular Iron Man. Pre-Order tomorrow at 1pm ET as Fan Channel. Likely more Iron Man Reto Cardback figures coming later this year.

Spider-Man 60th Anniversary Marvel Legends Toei Japanese Spider Man. Pre-Order tomorrow at 1pm ET as Fan Channel

Mojo World Boxset will be a summer con exclusive. Longshot, Mojoverse version of Wolverine, Dazzler (Outback), AND MOJO which should end up getting a general release at some point based on info I have seen. This set will be going up for pre-order tomorrow at 1pm ET on HasbroPulse.

For the final tease they showed a hand that looks like a hand for Gambit. Asked fans if people would like one without a jacket.

They're probably still cautious to go to major events, not that I blame them. Not only that but it sounded like this was a last-minute discission by the higher ups. We didn't even know if there was still going to be a con until a few months ago.

That sucks, but it was always online orders for me, so nothing really changes for my case. But if I were to go to SDCC I'd definitely be annoyed.

Wonder what that means for Canada? Toys R Us usually has a setup at Toronto FanExpo selling the SDCC stuff. Hopefully that hasn't changed because I wouldn't want to be ordering through US sites.

That ridiculous Wolvie aside, this set looks great. All the head sculpts are exceptionally well done. I just cannot forgive the fact that they still used that tired ayass Bishop buck for Dazzler. Three Dazzler figures so far guys, and you still can't get it right once? Let's ask Silver Surfer, when we get him with the Galactus Haslab, how it feels. And sure they could use a little more paint, but y'know....Hasbro. Can't say that this is all money well spent, but it's Mojo, and it's Longshot and we may never get them otherwise.

Guess the technology to do Spiral, much like the technology to get to the Moon, was lost and never able to be replicated again, even though technology has progressed so much since the last attempt.

Ehhhh.........reasons. Whaddayagonnado?

I want the Longshot and Mojo. But I do not want the rest and in this economy with my current salary, I might have to buy them loose.

I get that this sentinel is set to compliment the 3.75" line, but to charge the same dough they do for the fully articulated 6" figures....that takes some big brass ones. Gall.

That 6 Sentinel ticks me off. Hasbro knows fans would love a fully articulated version but instead they give us this POS...

the colors are the only positive thing I can say about this.

Yeah I feel the same, I would have loved it if they had given us a actual Legends Series smaller Sentinel like they had in the X-Men Arcade game, they could have even called it a gamerverse figure, but if you are a collector of the 3.75 stuff this is pretty cool for that line, which is what it's for, so I can't knock it's lack of articulation, I'm still grabbing one for a small sentinel representation on my shelf, I guess I just won't be posing it in any dynamic ways, it is what it is, the colors are nice, and it does look good for what it's supposed to be a figure in the 3.75 to compliment those figs.

It's for the 4 inch line. Not the 6 inch one.

Bro.., obviously.. where did I say it was for the 6 line? I just said 6 Sentinel.
