You know what would've been cool, is if they had some clear "glass" or enamel covers over those ports, like they did for Nimrod's chest window.

Right. So, when he (the reviewer) says the artwork on the box doesn't match the figure, that's true, but then in this case, its not supposed to since he doesn't have those brakes.

Indeed. I'm glad he didn't point out to the artwork miscoloring the armor's jaws red as a reason why the figure should have them colored that way.

That cover shows this armor with flaps/airbrakes but I don't know if he actually deployed those (or even had them) in the interior comic. At any rate, this figure looks right compared to the current suit. I'm sure specialty outlets like Sideshow and Mafex are gonna have a field day putting all those neon lights in lol!

I like that they took the effort to actually do the work to make it look like the Ross armor, instead of what they did with the 20th Anniversary figure. There they just removed the hip pods and provided the "horned" visor/mask face plate, didn't bother with the rest...at any rate, here they made this model accurate.

Also I note that the wider rectangular eye slits actually look very close to how Don Heck used to draw them.
