It baffles me on the decisions they make, it really does. Thor can definitely carry a strictly comic wave; I find it ridiculous that I should have to say this, but considering all the years they've been doing Legends, it sure seems like they have no faith in that. And while the first "anniversary" offerings were over priced and underwhelming, it at least could be used as a kind of opening to put out classic, comic Thor, Captain America, Hulk and Fantastic Four waves. Thor has so much to offer....the Warriors Three, Beta Ray Bill, the Wrecking Crew, the Heralds of Galactus, classic Hercules, Desak, Mephisto...could even add classic Valkyrie.

Very Much agreed, I still think it's a shame Thor has never had a whole wave outside of a movie promotion dedicated to him, we can get whole Deadpool waves, but no Comic Thor wave...sigh and it doesn't seem likely we ever will at this point, most waves now are just tied into movies with the exception of Spider-Mang and one odd Iron Man wave (which likely was just going to be a retro wave)

Anyways this figure looks awesome, I would have said "do we really need a new Thor" well when it looks this good sure, totally cool with adding this figure to the collection despite not being too attached to the story this look comes from.

Agree, that's what the talking heads in youtube are saying about Thor in movies also...there is still more story to tell
