SDCC 2022 Hasbro Marvel Legends Panel Coverage

We are bringing you coverage of the Hasbro Marvel Legends panel taking place today at San Diego Comic Con. Steve Evans, Ryan Ting, and Dan Yun (Hasbro) are leading the panel today, Dwight couldn't make it to the Con this year. The panel is not being officially live-streamed this year by Hasbro but MCUCollector who is there is going to attempt to live-stream it. Not sure how well it will work but we will also bring you updates from it as they become available over the course of the next hour.

Jesse Falcon is on the panel and Steve Evans wasn't feeling well and wont be on the panel. Dwight is there virtually.

So far they are just going over things like the 20th Anniversary and Spider-Man 60th Anniversary stuff we have already seen.

Howard The Duck from the What If Series. Also will come with the Headless Ant-Man. Part of the second Disney+ wave for 2022.

From Loki Series Classic Loki, He Who Remains.

Tesseract improved from the original role-play item and Loki figure.

From the Black Panther Wave Comic Black Panther and Comic Hatur Zeraze.

Sentry will be Walgreens Exclusive.

It sounds like the rest of the Black Panther wave will be revealed sometime after the Saturday afternoon Marvel Studios panel which is when the Wakanda Forever trailer is set to premier. So either late Saturday or possibly even Sunday.

Sheer baffling laziness, the way they did this set. Not at all hard to get right and yet somehow they yanked defeat from the jaws of victory.

I'd wait for the remake.

I get such a kick out of Firestar because on one hand she's Megan Markle, and on the other she's Maggie Gyllenhaal, lol. That Spidey is indeed very tempting, but why does Iceman look like an alien? That's about one of the oddest face sculpts they've made, man! Still, it's hard not to see this set and suddenly get the awesome 80s synth theme music in my head; Some of my best memories!

The Iceman in this set is very disappointing. I was hoping we'd get the definitive classic Iceman figure, but this is a bad body choice for him- it just misses the mark. Spidey is nice, and Firestar is a bit of an upgrade, but overall underwhelming results.

Recently scored this Spidey loose for a nice deal at a holiday comic con. Best figure of him in the reds and blues so far, imo.

Though the face sculpt is still a little jankie, this is the better version of Firestar as it's on the superior, if not a bit tiresome Shriek mold. Wish I'd known they were gonna do this one before I bought the previous version on the wonky Kate Bishop mold. Lesson learned, guess I'll just see how much it's going for on Ebay.
