Hasbro is holding a live-stream with the
Marvel Legends brand team (
Dwight, Dan &
Ryan) where they will be showing off new products for the coming year. Among other things we expect them to full reveal the two X-Men 60th Anniversary Yellow And Blue X-Men 3-Packs which feature figures of
(Forge, Jubilee, Storm) and
(Banshee, Gambit, Psylock) as well as the new
Deluxe Blob figure. You can expect these to go up for pre-order this coming Thursday (12/8) at 1pm ET at places like our sponsors
BigBadToyStore.com and
Entertainment Earth.
We will be bringing you full coverage here of those and everything else new they reveal today.

white creature for upcoming figures. The creature appears to be
Ch'od's pet, Cr'reee which may be the
BAF for the X-Men wave.

You're 100% right. If we're talking value, the DC Megafig Kalibak came in at around $40.00, same articulation, and is bigger. Sure one could argue that Blob is better known, but the price of the thing is absurd. Even more so now. And yes the old BAF is even more expensive on the tird market, but that's way overpriced AND its a woefully outdated figure. Saw one going for $90.00. Why anyone is plunking down that kind of coin is beyond me. I guess the ol' P.T. Barnum saying was right about one being born every minute.

I'd rather wait and see if he gets re-released. If not, I can live without.

Weird that is seems like they have this "re-release tax" I've noticed it with all of the re-releases of late, They are 5-10 bucks more.
Honestly though this Blob is worth the price, and I have a feeling if a Blob is what you want in yer collection, this is gonna be the one.

Ha, actually more like whenever I see this figure I think, my has that one Garbage Pail kid grown, I like this figure quite a bit, but it also creeps me out just a tad, I mean Blob is kinda creepy I guess..he's a massive obese guy, whos powers are being massively obese, mutant ability to max out a BMI, can this mold be used to give us a Big Bertha figure some day? that's the question one must ask, it's important.are you rad enough Hasbro for that one??
