Really? I did not catch that. I stand corrected. It only makes sense because Hasbro has made the habit of spending most of the money on movie and television product. Guess I just looked and basically overlooked it assuming it was a simple repaint. Maybe it's my overall bias towards what I feel is a gimmicky, niche, odd little, one-off waste of resources that is the What If? Not that it can't be entertaining, the comics certainly more so than the show, and possibly have some long standing effects on the greater MCU, but the name itself just means they can literally just pull concepts straight outta their arses infinitely and call it "What If" and waste time and effort making figures of these single use characters that they could have used filling out major holes in the ML roster. Sure, you get some jewels like these zombie characters, which many are using as "good enough" stand-ins for the actual Zombie-Verse, but something tells me an actual wave of Marvel Zombies, or perhaps some box sets would be much better received, rather than these animated styled figures. Then again, as always, I'm looking at it through an old school collectors lens rather than the new average casual fans lens that Hasbro markets products too. But no matter what, everyone loves zombies, don't they? How could you miss?

Yes because even in that universe, whacky and wild though it may be, some things have to make sense.

Otherwise you wind up with issues where Spider-Man's suddenly so powerful, that his mere uncontrolled sneeze has enough power to level Manhattan, but two issues later he gets caught by surprise and knocked unconscious by a low-rent thug like Turk.

Right off the jump, I get it. I do understand the appeal of Zombie figures. Marvel Zombies was a good arc and it was pretty entertaining every time they introduced a new zombified character, but this kinda sucks. After the phenomenal job they did with the Captain America Zombie, which I actually bought, they role out this lazy POS. If I recall correctly the What If? zombie IM had some damage to the suit and maybe even some pieces missing. This is just a lazy repaint (re-use) of the existing MCU version with some painted mud on it.

Man that's rough. I had the original Iron Man figure and the leg broke off. The replacement did too.

Never got into the zombie-super powered stuff though. I get the concept, but it just doesn't work for me; even if a zombie somehow got to Stark before he was fully armored up, he'd be dead and brainless, therefore the armor would be irrelevant.

Oh well....

It's fascinating that this secondary animated zombie Iron man has better metallic red than most Iron Man figures from the Legends line. I hope that Extremis is similar if not better than this deco wise.
