Hasbro 4" Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3. Epic Heroes Figures

Following up on our story from the other day when we first told you how Hasbro was expanding it's 4" Marvel Epic Heroes line with product based on the Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 movie, we now have official images and details to share with you on those.So the wave of 4" single release Epic Heroes action figures which will retail for $10.99 each include Star Lord, Drax, Groot and Mantis. They are also doing an Epic Heroes Galactic Spaceship vehicle that will include a 2.5" Rocket Racoon figure. That will retail for $34.99.These will be available at most major retailers and should be available online at places like our sponsor Entertainment Earth starting this coming Sunday (4/9) at 9PM PT.

Not my thing now, but for the younger me that woulda been right up my alley. Kinda takes me back to the old Toybiz X-Men Monster Armor days, except I don't think they made an actual monster without the figure. Nice little two for one gig at a pretty decent price. How very unHasbro of them.

Cool Ironman and Thor have Target Masters type partners. Everything about this looks great for the target audience. Two toys that can combine? If these came out when my boy was young I'd have gotten him all of these.

Kind of a shame that this line has been shrunk down to 4" after having started out 6". I guess it makes sense to ensure consistency across the basic figure line, but at the cost of consistency across the Mech Strike line.

I hadn't made this connection before because Hasbro didn't have an all-encompassing basic figure sub-line before. Like, movies and Mech Strike did have 6-inch basic figures, but they didn't have a unifying brand the way you see the Epic Heroes logo in these figures. But now seeing Mech Strike being shrunk down from 6" to 4"... it makes me realize that Epic Heroes has shrinkflation written all over it.

So Ridiculous that I kinda love it, Power Rangers Marvel Characters, too bad all of the Robots don't form into a giant Zord.
