And Then There Were Two - The Final Two Marvel Legends Avengers 60th Anniversary Non-Exclusive Sets Pre-Order Dates

Last night Hasbro's Dan Yun released a new official image for their upcoming comic based Destroyer figure (see below) which will be part of a 2-pack with the bearded Thor figure as we saw in Hasbro's last live-stream. That 2-pack will be going up for pre-order next week on Tuesday (5/2) at 1pm ET at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

We can also tell you that the Hawkeye with Skycycle that we also saw during the last live-stream will be going up for pre-order at the same places the following week on May 9 at 1pm ET.

Those are the final two Avengers 60th Anniversary sets Hasbro has shown off except for the two store exclusives which includes the Walmart Bucky Cap V2 and the Target Black Widow. As we have reported before, the Captain America will likely be made available this summer during the next Walmart Collector Con event and we have no idea when Target might make the Black Widow available.

Be sure to check back next week for more official images for the Destroyer and Thor 2-pack.

Yeah this was a 20.00 at ollies purchase for my second one....so they averaged to around 35 a piece.

Lol. Yeah I've been picking up the Thor/Destroyer sets at Ollie's all over the country for like 4 months now for $20. I think of all the comic based sets this was probably one of the ones they misprojected on how well they'd sell. I've seen Drax/Moondagon, Sersi/Black Knight, Super Adaptoid, Hawkeye Sycycle and even Patch/Fixit in small quantities. But nothing in the numbers I see this set. I hope to see Destiny/Rogue very soon. I would pay $20 for that one.

Picked this set up too at a reduced price. When I got my Galactus in, and I started building a heralds display around him, I definitely wanted to include the Destroyer in that display.

It's a fantastic set, managed to get it reduced a while ago. Two incredible figures

This is an amazing set. The bearded head was a sneaky way to get us the 2nd headsculpt that should have been included with the 80th Anniversary figure but at least Hasbro came through eventually.

And it was nice to check off Thor II on our obscure Avengers lists

And I agree, the Destroyer is incredible. I had purchased the Select version but this Hasbro one beats it in every way.

Kinda crazy that this 2 pack went as far down as $30 retail at some point. And honestly, that destroyer figure is fantastic.

Cancelled my Pulse order and saved myself a couple bucks, thanks!

Thor's armored suit is not my fave, but since the movie version is already done I'd expect that to show soon. And Beta Ray Bill with the Warriors Three (not to mention the Executioner) just can't arrive soon enough.

That was Thor from Dan Jurgen's run especially the Reigning. It would be an interesting look to see

Thank you. I knew someone here would know. I loved that look and the figure was almost as good as todays ML except for the really really really strange articulation decisions Hasbro was attempting at the time. Someone told me that this Thor, She-Hulk and Blob were all sculpted during the Toybiz days and were meant to be part of the line but were bought out by Hasbro and then Hasbro incorporated their articulation. That She-Hulk scupt was also amazing. I'd love to see them redo that figure with modern means. I mean seriously just reuse the sculpt with better articulation. That head sculpt is still one of the best She-Hulk I've ever seen.
