Hasbro could easily include a more comic book-style head with grey hair, they would only need to sculpt a new hairpiece that resembles her comic book hairdo, it's not like there's huge potential for another Aunt May re-release so they could have done it in this set.

I think when talking about Aunt May, my own inclination would be to go for the classic Comics version--the John Romita sr. design.I think it is, by far, the most iconic look for the figure..........................BUT.....In terms of "eyes-on" for the character, the 90's cartoon ( mathematically) probably had 5 to 10 times more viewers than the comics of the day then ( 3-4 million viewers versus maybe 200,0000 monthly readers). So the cartoon may be more prominent in the minds of fans than the comic. My assumption is we'll see a Classic May figure in the next year, because all it is is a new head sculpt and (slightly) repainted body. Once they have that classic head in the field, they can do May in all gold as a Herald of Galactus and so forth.

I have to agree, so far this is the best stuff we got for the animated line. only Cyclops is close. I could complain about lack of ab crunch since older figure had waist swivel and torso balljoint but older figure was also much bigger and there's argument to be made that Otto doesn't really need that much of articulation.

Either way, WE finally got Ock with bendable tentacles and it's the best thing to happen in ML line since pinless tech, and the best fact is that they bend well and you can actually make ock "stand" with them, it's fascinating achievement in it's own right. Aunt May is really well done, her face isn't 100 percent accurate but it's all around solid sculpt.

Now I wonder what's next? Mysterio? Could be easily done on Vulcan body with new gloves/boots and bowl/cape, Rhino also would work on Caliban Baf body. My personal pick would be Chameleon and Jameson two pack, they can even go further and make animated Kingpin DD set based on series as well as Cap vs Red Skull.

I think... I think this 2-pack might be the best 90s cartoon Spidey offering from Hasbro yet.

Venom was just fine, but the hole shoulders made the figure feel like it lacked thought. The Walmart Spidey didn't capture the physique of TAS Peter well enough and the colors were off. The Black Suit Spidey was alright on its own, but it gets instant disqualification from me since it doesn't share the same body as regular Spidey. Carnage's deco and headsculpt were wholly inaccurate. I also never understood why did they make a two pack for a version of Spider-Man that never interacted with Carnage.

But this two pack captures the two characters it represents pretty well, and Doc Ock has bendy tentacles. It even gets bonus points for lacking any poorly-executed attempt at cel shading. I can't remember if Aunt May and Doc Ock interacted much in the cartoon, but it's not nowhere near as jarring as theanachronistic pairing of Symbiote Spidey and Carnage, plus it doubles as a nod to their history in the comics.

Seriously, Aunt May is far more important then Warriors 3, sorry it's just true, Aunt Man in figure form is so long overdue, and people have been asking for that forever, despite this not being the much more desired comic look, this is probably as close as we will get for sometime, but No way is Warriors 3 more essential to the marvel universe then Aunt May, that's just facts, it's hillarious to even ask "why aunt may?" like come on, and yes everyone asked for it.

I personally have no interest in this set, don't need a Animated Ock or May, but I appreciate how good these look, I do however wish I could get my hands on these tentacles.

Otto looks dope and easily the best looking animated figure theyve done so far by far.Just wish he was on the retro card.
