Never got into Generation X but I have to admit, when I was a kid I always wondered what the X-Men's costumes might look like if they played around with the colors; instead of blue/yellow with the red accent for the belts, what about red/yellow and blue accent on the belts instead. And then years (YEARS) later Gen X came out. I might just get this for nothing more than my own personal nostalgia, and the figure looks great to boot.
I'm really happy with this figure, I was a bit scared when they showed if off at first, because the face looked a bit odd, but in the end her face is actually pretty nice, I'm also really happy she is in her Gen X suit rather then her more recent outfits, because this is my most favoured look for her, and glad to finally be building the Gen X team.

I was so scared this figure was going to be awful but I'm very happy to be wrong. The face is very pleasing but I think the darkness of the hair and skin creates a shadow that makes her look like she has a horse face in the pictures. The head is a bit small especially compares to other female figures. And the big shoulder pads aren't making it look better. At least they got the skin tone right though. It looks like Google came through this time. This is not the costume I was expecting and I would love a more modern version using the Monstone body but if this is the only version they ever do I guess I'd be cool with it.
