Hot Toys Gurdians of the Galaxy Volume 3: Drax and Mantis Sixth Scale Figures

Haha. I think I appreciated the MCU MODOK more than most people. No surprise they made such a farce from another major bad guy buy at least they did it better than most. He was hilarious.

This is horrifyingly realistic.

This is it. Peak Hot Toys. They never need to release another figure now.

All joking aside, I really didn't mind Quantumania MODOK. He was always a ridiculous villain in the comics and shows, and this fit that. I think the movie could have treated him a but more sympathetically, he was treated as a joke by the characters despite his horrific ordeal, when I feel like it should have been more emotional and heavy at the end. His design was good though, having the comic style stretched face would have been a cgi nightmare, so having him just look like Darren was the better choice. And the mask was genuinely creepy and awesome.

If I'm not mistaken Drax and Mantis have the same headsculpts as before and they could've used new ones this time around. As far as MODOK goes, even HT couldn't make him look good..

M.O.D.O.K has to be one of the worst-designed characters of 2023. Right alongside Wheeljack from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. They didn't stretch his face. It looks horrifying in the wrong way.
