My interest in Crystar is that he was on the cover of the very first Marvel Age comic, a title I found very engrossing for a long time. image.thumb.png.e1a23210352821310e378148d5b76ecc.png

It's not really a little known fact anymore since this figures been announced lol. Feels like every youtube mention of him mentions that now.

I had him and warbow way back they were on store shelves and thought it was the other way around for the longest time as well.

A more fun little known fact is that Glenn Danzig used the skull from Crystar #8 for the Danzig logo. I'm surprised more isnt made of that in this day and age.

Personally I've never seen this guy in the comics but he does have a certain bit of throwback appeal. Plus I needed him for the BAF. Which I need.

No interest in the character, but not putting him on his own vintage packaging was missed opportunity

Man...I still remember seeing the very first Crystar comic issue #1 at the neighborhood 7-11 and just being awestruck by how cool he looked! What a wickedly awesome treat to get him now, looking so spiffy after all these years! Here's hoping we see more characters from that series!

I'm still just so siked we got this figure, Like wow, Really a marvel legends Crystar, just way too crazy, I love it, can't wait to get it, also a huge sucker for translucent figures so not only is this a deep odd cut which I love, but a translucent figure at that.

I think it's pretty cool this has a fair amount of new about it, they could have done more phoning in, but they gave this some love, well thanks to Randy from NECA apparently who whispered in their ear about this guy.
