Hasbro today announced that going up for pre-order tomorrow (April 9) at 1pm ET on Hasbro Pulse will be a new Marvel Legends 2-Pack that will feature Classic Wasp and a normal sized Giant-Man figure that matches the new Haslab version. Both figures will have masked and unmasked heads. Wasp will have removable wings and alternate hands. Giant-Man will also include a soft-goods lab coat and other lab type accessories. This is also where that mini-Quinjet they teased at WonderCon will be included.

They also showed off the art that will be featured on the packaging for the Haslab Giant-Man. Check out images below.

First impressions- Wasp is, as cliche as its becoming to say, a work of art! She has the waist ball joint pivot, like Luke. It works for this gorgeous sculpt, and she is poseable. The matte colors on her tunic/skirt looks really nice. Helmet is sooooo freakin cool. The movable mouthpiece is a nice touch. Very impressive.

I prefer brighter colors (including the Pym Particle cartridges) instead of the matte finish; she looks good with Ant-Man. Would've preferred clearer translucent wings or even pinkish wings; maybe swap out 2026's Beetle wings for her? Wasn't crazy about the waist ball because it really restricts her movement. Otherwise....this is one of those Must Get figures for fans. Marvelous!

A friend pointed out that the Wasp was "off". Yes, her antennae should be on the sides of the cowl but he meant that she looks older than she should. Ok, fair play to you, Janet was very very young when she started out (her dad and Pym referred to her as a "child", but a lot of that was down to the times, patriarchy and all that). Still, she was young and we know this because a few years into adventuring with Ant-Man and the Avengers, she comes into her full inheritance on her 23rd birthday( Avengers #43), which nets her $3,000,000. The face still looks very good; maybe 30 not 20 but ok.

I didn't realize that these would be shipping so soon.. Mine is already on it's way! I guess I'm still use to those COVID preordet dates!

Just got mine and got em out of the package!!! Man that was quick!

Pym in the lab coat is something I've wanted for a long time. I truly thought it would never come. Cool accessories. Definitely add to the fun here. And putting the head and coat on the Ant Man figure looks super cool too!

As little Giant Man, he's a little weaker. The Sunfire body looks small. And while it's exactly the same as the Target Ant Man, that I think is damn near perfect, it doesn't quite work for GM. Maybe the big ol helmet offsets it enough. I honestly can't quite put my finger on why...it just doesn't. They needed a slightly bigger mold, but maybe needed the butterfloes to make the coat go on easier. It's not horrible to where I won't display him at the feet of the Haslab I eagerly await, along with the BAF for the effect!

If you have the Hulk and first team go Ant Man. Anything with Cap, go Giant Man Pym. Pym is really only Ant Man for the first 2 issues, then it's like the 90s till Lang joins up as AM. Ultimately whatever looks cooler at the end of the day though. You might get this one and like that Ant Man waaaay better, cause he is pretty awesome.

Much appreciated! I've been thinking about it and for some reason, I am a bit more partial to the Target exclusive Antman that came out a while back. That may change when I get this Giantman though...

How about go with antman and wait until yellow jacket comes out and he can be your hank pym. I'm sure hasbro will make him sooner than later. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion! Sounds like a great way to incorporate both of these figures!

Actually, I disagree, it CAN be done right. Mezco One:12 does fabric, in a different way ,that works at this scale. Mezco Star Trek figures and others have nicely draped clothing therein, BUT YES, HASBRO AND MARVEL LEGENDS DO NOT. Well, the trench coat that ToyBiz ML Gambit came with still holds up...but overall, for the brand itself........near-total fizzle

Agree, it can be done right and Mezco pretty much demonstrates this regularly. I'd say the hasbo team hasn't put in the effort to learn, even though they've been doing Legends for well over a decade now. I don't think most collectors are expecting or even want Mezco-level soft goods, but capes and long coats should be something hasbo could do, if they wanted. This lab coat would've been good for that. Throw in a pocket protector for extra points....

Some of the Transformer pre-orders that were announced last week are very close to shipping too, I believe. It feels like pre-orders are being announced closer and closer to release date.

Yeah seems this isn't really a pre-order, since it's appearing as in stock on Pulse as of now, when I placed my order they just charged me and well that would mean it's going to be sent out, I think that's cool, I always thought it should be more like that, more like a week or a month before something is set to release they put up the pre-order, or better yet just release things.

of course I still want this 2 pack, because both figures look amazing, but I just browsed my collection and kinda went "oh" I have so many Ant/Giant Men, I kinda forgot, now it seems like overkill to have this one as well, when I have the Target exclusive, Scott Lang Ant-Man, Goliath, Modern Giant Man, Future Ant-Man, Black Ant, MCU Ant-Man, MCU Giant Man, Haaaa oh well.

I can't recall any marvel legend figure having this happen, as far as shipping from being "pre ordered".

Eh, it was never listed as a pre-order, it was immediately listed as an "In stock" item. But anyway, Detroit Steel comes to mind. That dropped as an order and not a pre-order as well. This isn't exactly an unprecedented event, rare as it may be. Anyway, this is shipping immediately. Mine already has, at least.

Yeah, I was shocked when I pre-ordered Gears and two weeks later he was in-hand. That was crazy.

This one is a no brainer for me. I love this look for Wasp and I'm excited to get a Giant-man, even if I didn't back the Haslab. I'm a little torn as to whether or not Giant-man or Antman will be on display on my Avenger's shelf, any suggestions?
