Medicom MAFEX Marvel X-men Rogue Figure Pre-order

Not bad, but it's on the skinny/petite side and it is the direction they picked, which does fit perfectly with their Jean, Storm and Psylocke. Hasbro's more muscular body is still better, but Jacket and face sculpt are great and can be used for Kitbashing, although that would be one expensive Kitbash.

The release date is only 11 months away! Incredible (Sarcasm). Though, from my experience, mafex figures are usually delayed 2 or 3 months longer than originally estimated.

I kind of wish the lipstick popped a bit more, as it is it seems to blend in with the color of the hair and jacket, but that's the minor-est quibble of minor quibbles. Still a great looking figure.

Honestly I'm not that impressed. It's a nice face sculpt but it doesn't match the era. It's almost like they used a Sylvestri era portrait on the Jim Lee era design. The body model is pretty good. As usual I'm a huge fan of the lady abs. But again it doesn't match the curvy Jim Lee era design for Rogue. Also I've never been a fan of soft goods. No matter how well it is done and no matter how good it looks it just never sits right on a 6" figure. And Holy Mother! One Hundred and Five smackers? Wow! Nothing and I mean nothing justifies that price over ML. Not even if the thing was made of solid gold. Wow. Just wow. No thank you.

Hasbro should be thanking these guys. For all the complaints we have for Hasbro's prices all they really ever have to say is "hey you can always choose MAFEX".

This is pretty good looking. I don't usually buy Mafex outside of the occasional sale, but I might have to seriously consider this one...
