Re: ML Titania

While she looks great I'm a little disappointed by the size of this figure. The She-Hulk figure was absolutely perfect and I was expecting Titania would be a tweak of that body mold or at least rival SH in size. And she is bigger than a lot of characters she comes in quite a bit shorter than she appears in the comics. Especially as compares to SH. I was hoping to display them together without having to do a little creative posing to make them seem similar in size. A new character is always welcome but as often is the case with Hasbro the scale seems to suffer after a great effort is put into a product.

I'm disappointed by Titania as well. The PG-ification of her costume is just more annoying in hand than I thought it would be. I actually wanted to cancel this figure and forgot.

I'm not shocked they altered her costume. It's the world we live in.

I am curious what the underlying color of the plastic is though. If it's skin tone under the pink, then nail polish remover will take that off without any problem. Although, to be honest, I'm actually considering cancelling my preorder of Titania. So many other good figures are coming out and I'm just not interested in her. I preordered thinking she would look great on the shelf with She-Hulk, but since I'm buying more Avengers figures, I don't think She-Hulk really needs company.

I want that Captain America to be my default, but the facial expressions are silly.

I hear what you're saying. Its odd though...Secret Wars (and this character) came out 40 years ago. One would think an action figure of it would be fine now. Now that Captain America, they're just about perfect on. If they added the black "shadow" to his mask, maybe give him a glossy metallic look to his shield, he'd be there (yeah the facial expressions on this one need some work lol).

Whoof, that pink "T" on her chest looks even worse than it did at first. What a senseless and needless thing to do to her costume. But as the hasboys are in such a "creative" mood, they could expand the Secret Wars line with some updated Wrecking Crew goodness. That way they can produce something that was actually in the comic.

Titania and Beyonder are still the stars of this wave for me. I decided to get Cap and Iron Man as well to have the new pinless versions. Cap is likely to become my new default Cap (couldn't care less about the shield because I have at least 20), but I'm having second thoughts about that Iron Man, but will probably still get it to replace the AI one from the Shang Chi / Hyde wave. I know that I'm in the minority here but I've never liked those costumes for Logan or Peter. I had these toys as a kid, but I only like to keep one version of most characters and it's red/blue Spidey for me (RYV) and tiger stripe for Wolvie (XM97) as my defaults.

Its the same exact figure as the AI Iron Man with just different accessories and packaging. I was thinking of getting it myself but im going to wait for deep clearance or someone selling the accessories on ebay.

I always love me some great comparison pics. Hmm. I always thought Titania was around the same height as She-Hulk but I'm not going to make a big deal out of it. She looks amazing. And I love that new buff chic model. Please use it for an updated Valkyrie. Love the pic of the Caps holding hands. Lol. I think this is the best Classic Cap yet. Now we just need a new modern version. Love that Spidey head sculpt but puzzled by the choice for the body model. Had they used that head on the RYV Black Spidey it would have been flawless. That's the only figure I passed on besides Wolverine. I really hope they do more of these Retro SW waves.

Can not wait for Titania. Perhaps a new Absorbing man won't be too far behind? Never did complete that Build-A-Figure.
