Yup see they cast the bait and it was bitten, they knew what was what, that 3 Pack was destined to become fodder in a box, it sold out with a quickness due to FOMO and impatience, and everyone knew eventually they;d re-release the figures the way you wanted them with the Unmasked heads.

Lol why does this look more like Young James Remar then Chris Evans? anyways I agree with everyone here about where are the Legends from DP&W? it seems like a really big miss not getting them out as fast as possible, But I'm sure it's just a case of the NWH issues, and surely by end of 2025 they will be abundant. The fans want these figures and if Hasbro makes you wait, they hope you might just want them more and settle for less, like the masked only Spidey 3 pack. JohnF - 2025-01-09 @ 4:37 pm

At least in comparison to anything Sony had done before and certainly better than what most of the MCU was doing at the time. So it at least made sense. What I also remember is they way they got that 2nd wave for Black Panther out in record time in less than six months. They literally said it was and emergency wave. And also tried to convince us it was totally organic and didn't have that thing already in the works. And remember it also had that new facial mapping of the actors as well. Not as good as the current PhotoReal tech but it was innovative for the time. Remember that? That movie was also a massive success so it also made sense. Actually the over all worldwide box office take BP is identical to W&DP at 1.3 billion. So why do we have to just sit back and accept that W&DP has come and gone and nuts to the collectors who do want more and are willing to pay for it? I don't know. Perhaps they'll come out a year from now and start producing some more product like they did with the NWH product. But I won't hold my breath. I'm always vocal about wanting more DP&W figures, but if they don't give it to us there's not much I can do. We'll see what happens. AndyL - 2025-01-09 @ 4:00 pm

I don't know that it will look in the future like it has in the past, both in terms of frequency of material and toy tie-ins. I would be surprised if we ever see something like a massive Eternals wave again (6+ figures based on a property with speculative, rather than actual, popularity). I hope you're right my friend. We've all heard the lip service and we're all hoping the W&DP movie left a lasting impression on the proper way to proceed but early rumblings regarding both Brave New World and Thunderbolts is not giving me the warm fuzzy feelings I've been waiting for. And as far as Star Wars. Wow there is no property that has been eviscerated like that one. I'm not saying it isn't possible to rehabilitate it but for me and my circle after the first 6 movies it is basically dead. Except for Rogue One of course.
Likeness is questionable but I can't say it doesn't look like Evans, it does but something feels off, it needs more work to get that instant recognizable look, however, it always could be just lighting and maybe in person and under natural lights it's far better.
Man. I really think they missed the mark on that headsculpt. I just don't see Evans in that face at all.

These past few years I think the reasoning behind less MCU products were based on the terrible post End Game state of the MCU and it's product and the fact that many MCU projects had been put on hold or canceled and there was simply a lack of source material from the MCU side available. Actually what they ended up doing was going back to the same old well where the MCU was good and milked it for a little more fuel. That's what the whole Outriders set was about. I'm certain of it. Comic book source material was always there and more or less endless with so many background characters and costume changes from premier characters. So we got a lot of that stuff. And don't get me wrong. I'm happy to have it and will willingly consume almost any comic based character more readily than another figure based on any actor. But I suspect once MCU gets up and going again at a more regular pace the amount of movie product will not only increase but it will get primary commitment and take the majority of resources that were afforded the comic based product that we got these last couple of seasons. If anything I hope this time served to show the head honchos at Hasbro that comic based product can and regularly does perform better than most of the MCU product does. You could be right. But I think the MCU and Star Wars are on the brink of major upheavals. I don't know that it will look in the future like it has in the past, both in terms of frequency of material and toy tie-ins.
