I do realize that this Iron man's helmet is indeed accurate to the Bryan Hitch art, yet it feels like it accurate to the panels that weren't the best, eyes seems way too far apart aside from having weird shape, I also consider old 4 inch Ultimate Iron Man figure from 2010's Iron man 2 movie line way superior when it comes to helmet sculpt, if they just copied 4 inch figure helmet sculpt this would have been a great figure.

As for Miles, at first it seems they put real effort in the figure and they indeed sculpted all new torso but they seem to be reusing Spider-Kid's "child birthing" hips which are incredibly wide and ruin any position when figure has to stand up.

Marvel girl looks great , i hope they can fix the boots color issue before release

Seems unlikely. We see these things really far along in the process these days.

I didn't even notice the boot color on Marvel Girl, but now I can't unsee it! If they don't fix the problem, I'll just have to repaint them, but it's pretty annoying when stuff like this gets missed. As for everyone wanting the red version of Jean's X-Factor costume, I'm sure it will happen at some point, but the green costume is how she looked in the first few issues of the comic, and is meant to go with the yellow striped version of the Cyclops figure that's coming out, so I'm thrilled to get it, especially with the extra head.

So, the curls are ... a new Absorbing Man?

50 bucks to acquire unmasked Peter Parker Spidey on meth? No way, thanks!!

Pretty good stream for the most part. Excited about the Maximum series but I hope that Spiderman isn't too pricey.

Definitely picking up that Jean Grey but I wish someone hadn't pointed out the lack of color for her boots, that is definitely going to bug me. What's crazier is that the art on the card back even has her boots as yellow!

Will be picking up most, if not all, of the mini comic wave. Definitely for the characters and not the mini comics . I don't understand having that accessory. I would rather have the money spent on a BAF piece, other accessories, or more paint apps on the figures.

Kinda surprised, being a Target exclusive, they didn't go with the red version of this costume.

Thats the version I really want. Im happy to be getting the green outfit, but Ive always loved the red version.

I honestly have no clue if anybody mentioned this yet, but I think those weights they teased at the end are for that strong guy's re-release that is supposed to be coming out.

I thought the weights might be for Ben Grimm from the Fantastic Four movie, but its probably too early in development for them to have samples of pieces for those. I like the thought of these going with Strong Guy.

So is Miles on a new body? This definitely looks like it has better articulation than the one from the Space Venom wave. Might be a good choice for future teenage boy characters like Synch and some of the New Mutant kids.

The sculpt on the mask looks really nice.

I don't know. Those hips on Miles look pretty rough. Given that 90 percent of people are going to pose him web swinging so it probably won't matter on display but with all the guff that people gave Hasbro for the Spider Shot figure I have to think a lot of people are going to have problems with this one. Maybe this model was well called for for a super agile character like Miles but we still have a previous pretty good teen male body model which they used on both Kid Omega and Franklin Richards. It also had diaphragm and ab crunch articulation and butterflies. But it didn't have that massive gap in the hips and crotch. I'm not sure why this teen mold would take the place all future teen figures that don't need that extra articulation. Actually I think it would have worked just fine for this one since neither of them have any particular sculpted costume details. Just paint. Never one to complain about newer and better molds but this just seems really unnecessary to me and in fact quite awkward looking. Guess I have to go home and see if I can get Kid Omega or Franklin in to poses that would have sufficiently worked for Miles.

Wow. Never thought of that. Would it be the post X-Factor Strong Guy from when he had his own book and they more or less ruined him forever. Turn out most of his character was based on good writing. And when you put a good character in the hands of bad writers things just don't line up. Something modern day writers just don't seem to understand.
