I don't hate it, but I'm not a MCU figure guy and this MCU Electro almost looks more like a Joe Classified character to me. I passed on all of the other Spider-Man movie figures and I'll be passing on this one as well.

Wow! An extra $10 for some janky translucent effects that should be automatic for any character wielding electricity and an extra set of hands that every figure should come with anyway. Oh and save me the whole licensing and actor likeness arguments because it actually looks like they are charging us to not include an alternate head sculpt! And this is yet another reason why I've sworn off MCU figures and the BS reasoning behind the silly inconsistent prices behind some of the products. Not just pass but double pass. Of course they're banking on getting all the people that want to complete the NWH setup. Glad I never picked it up. I knew from the start when they did the 3 pack Spider-Man's without alternate head sculpts they were going to nickel and dime us to death. But this is beyond what I and all my pessimism ever imagined. With stuff like this it seems the prices for the new Ultra Maximum or Extreme Magnum or whatever they're calling it line are looking like they are going to top the $60 mark.

Not real big on MCU figures, but this is actually a cool looking figure. I know there was some criticism about him looking chunky, but I think it's a pretty cool offering. Not one I'll be picking up, but one I can definitely appreciate.

I was just thinking what would be better than the mini comics but something that was still similar in concept. I am really not a fan of the whole concept to begin with. Personally I would rather just have the BAF pieces. If not that I would want the money spent on more accessories/paint apps.

Same here. Unlerss they release like a comic stand where you can display them and then create your own Comic Shop diorama

that wouldn't work. and it wouldn't sell as well as you think it would. It would isolate alot of people that don't have any interest in that series or modern comics leading to low sales. That is why mixed waves, waves that have modern and classic figure sell better.

Going by the size of the weights, F4 She Hulk seems to be more likely

That's a great guess. Weren't there rumblings that a new Strong Guy was in the works. I hope it's his X-Factor Investigations look but I seem to remember art of him lifting dumbells in weird Blue and Gold X suit. Can't seem to find a picture though.

I'd love if this rumored Strong Guy release was the later XFactor look. Kinda funny that we have that whole Investigations team, but couldn't really set it up since the outfits are so different.

The guess of the weights coming with an FF Shulkie feels right to me. It would be a way of making what is just a simple repaint a little different.

And btw, the more I see this Electro, the more "Hell No!" I am. There is no excuse for him to be 35 bucks.

I thought the weights might be for Ben Grimm from the Fantastic Four movie, but its probably too early in development for them to have samples of pieces for those. I like the thought of these going with Strong Guy.

I would rather have been offered a mini build-a-figure instead.
