This isn't me, the screaming head is likely going into storage.
No they're both the same, that is long sideburns is neutral and the other is the screaming head. I hear your frustration, though....they should have just had 2 long sideburn heads, one screaming and one not for one of the figures, and 2 regular sideburn heads, one screaming and one not for the other. Or maybe a screaming head and a sound wave effect piece.

It wasn't an issue for me, but Its frustrating that they gave him two heads and Siryn only got one....and she isn't even using her sonic power there. I swear, the decision process over at hasblo is just bizarre!
Also, they paint the boot tops on, like they did for the Vision. Took the lazy route, again. I DO like that soft goods use for the wing panels though. I know some aren't happy with them, but I honestly don't know how else the team could have made them for the figure, and they look very comic accurate.

I'm sure this was brought up previously but I'M just noticing that Banshee and Ultimate Iron Man share a wave again... that's kinda cool. Ultimate IM is undersized again..some things never change...
Just to pile on: down with mini comics. They suck. What's next? Spring loaded rockets or squeeze action super powers? For the price of this hobby, whether these particular ones add to it or not, keep the gimmicks and give me something that adds to the collection. An extra hand or effect pieces. This was a swing and a miss Hasbro.
On the plus side: these rando waves have been huge hits. The last one with Ikaris and KaZar was just as fun. Would love to see Hasbro continue to do this type of wave moving forward.
I have been saying the same - the mixed waves are my favorite!

They'd have to do a new sculpt for Ice Man but otherwise this wouldn't be a hard set to do. Though I would hope they'd make their belts red this time around; I think that bit of color made the team pop. Also I liked the picture Cockrum did of Prof X wearing an ascot....that would be a nice addition....make it a full 6 pack...

Great add! I almost suggested it myself, but with several recent Xavier figs, I couldn't see them doing that, but YEAH, damn good idea!

Instant pre-order for half the wave, I might MIGHT go back and pre-order warlock but I am a hater on the Vulcan body or really any use of outdated articulation, but his headscuplt and accessories just look great. And weirdly enough I kinda like the mini comics but only for ROM and warlock the rest I would have preferred even an extra hand over it. And ofcourse a baf piece would have been preferred but we have been heading in this direction fir years them making bafs near obsolete and replacing them with "deluxe", which I am not entirely mad with as I never purchase a whole wave and at times pass on the entire wave. But man there so many bigger characters to be desired thay would not sell well as an individual deluxe that would fit right into these types of waves and because of that they may never do those characters which blows.

I never said they would be the same as a BAF piece. I just said with the printing the cost of producing the mini comic may be a little more than we might expect (not saying specifically more than a BAF piece). I would just rather that cost go to a BAF piece, extra accessory (even if it's a small one), or extra paint apps on the figure. But that's just my personal opinion/taste.
Who knows? A few years down the line, when we all see collectors' displays and toy photography utilizing the mini comics, we may all end up loving them.
