I want this figure , but i refuse to pay full price for these whoopies figs. IF I find her on a deal or some type of sale I'll pull the trigger.

It will most definitely be rereleased in the red and yellow version. We should do a poll if we think that version will come with painted boots or not

Oh no question a Red/Yellow variant will be released and it will have the boots painted

Despite the fact that Jean really should have had her boots, are we actually surprised that Hasbrazos did something like that at this point? they love woopsies, But I mean I still will take the figure it looks very good, minus the issue to boot , but like honestly if they have plans on painting the boots at some point ahead....that might be actually a diabolical move.

has anyone figured out why this Jean is missing her boots? usually i feel like people are able to find like "oh for some reason it looks like the Legends team used this specific statue or this one comic cover with an off-model feature as reference when designing this figure", but i have yet to find any depiction of X-Factor Jean missing her boots

It's made worse that the actual packaging art has the boots

Pure oversight. Sure someone should have caught it, and probably did, but they went ahead anyway. Lack of quality control, laziness.

Mostly though, they know many in the "collecting community" are just too desperate to require better standards.

That doesn't explain how it sticks on the masked hair with the hair behind the head.

No, you're right. Thought i was being helpful. But yeah, the pic of it on her hand too. I wasn't looking at the pic of the "hair back" head. There's no peg and it isn't setting into the eye holes of the mask either. Maybe these are just promotional pics that assume we will get Adhesive? They do it with the stands as well, showing a pose you could never pull off without one. Kinda like how I finally got the "Casket of Cruelty" for the blood effects thinking they set into joints and seems to lock in, only to find out the blood effects need to be set on with sticky tack. I have some for posing on shelves, but it's white, I'll need some clear, but might have kept hemming and hawing if I'd known that.

The photographer probably just used sticky tac or something similar for this promo shot.

I think it "locks in" under the hair wisps.

I'm confused how the effect will stay on the head. Will it come with some adhesive?
