Just a reminder, the next Hasbro Marvel Legends pre-order should be (unless they surprise us with something else) the newly announced
Hasbro Maximum Marvel Legends Series Incredible Hulk figure which will go up at places like our sponsors
BigBadToyStore.com and
Entertainment Earth. This one will also be available on
Amazon. It will go up at
1pm ET on Thursday, April 10.
We believe the MSRP for this one will be $59.99.
Bring the excitement and wonder of the Marvel Universe to your collection with the Hasbro Marvel Legends Maximum Series Hulk figure! This collectible figure is detailed to look like the character from Marvel's Hulk comics. Standing a massive 8.5 inches tall, this Hulk towers over other 6-inch scale Marvel figures and features 30 points of articulation with poseable head, arms, feet, and legs. This Maximum Series action figure set is bursting with 11 accessories, including: alternate raging heads; 2 grapple hands; 2 open palm hands to display with 3 thunderclap effects; and a missile accessory to pose Hulk ripping to pieces. Hasbro Marvel action figures' 6-inch scale make them great for posing and displaying in fans' collections. Reimagine Hulk comics-inspired scenes on your shelf with Marvel Legends action figures.
Been looking over the picks again. I don't recognize the body mold for Crossbones. Can anyone tell me if it's new or re-used?
Maximum Hulk is priced fairly for a character of this size, a great option for those who don't already have the 80th Anniversary version, and not a necessary purchase for those who do. I wish it was a brand new pinless sculpt with better head sculpts, but because it doesn't and I have the 80th anniversary version, I can easily pass on this and save sixty bucks.

THIS is what they're calling their "maximum" treatment?? Sadly there are enough collectors out there where all you have to do is slap a label on like "premium", "gold", "ultimate deluxe quantum supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" etc, and they will fall for it each and every time. How about, instead of the 42nd Spider-Man figure, they instead use Cobalt Man? The two pack wasn't all that bad (except for the errors that are their trademark), but why not Triton & Blackbolt that was announced a while back? Swap out Mystique, who they've done what, 2-3 times now, with Raza from the Starjammers? Save the naked Wolverine Weapon X re-do for another time, and use Deathbird? Just saying....they have 80 years of characters to pick from, not just Spidey and X-Men.

I saw a YouTube video from Marvel Stop Motion Studios about Hasbro only treating the Spider-Man and X-Men fans. I agree. That's true unless the character has an upcoming movie. They will get one dedicated wave once a blue moon. Even Iron Man didn't receive his own comic-based wave until 2022. They will give us all these 'who asked for this crap' characters from Spider-Man and X-Men. Before they give us my brothers and me, A-Bomb, Betty Ross, and Thunderbolt Ross (Not Red Hulk), or they will be sprinkled into a random assortment wave like they did with Beta Ray Bill (We are still missing on a classic Beta Ray Bill), Odin, Hulkbuster, Lady Sif (we haven't seen her in a while), Loki, Skaar and Amadeus Cho (I guess). I know there are more Hulk characters that have received this treatment. I don't read Hulk comics.

Not sure what's going on lately. Prices are all over the place, but not getting corrected. EE was charging 60 for Ghost Rider last yr, but eventually fixed it. Now they are charging 125 for the Dr Doom helmet while it was 100 on Amazon, Pulse ect.
They could just paint an Iconic Iron man Blue and they could have CObalt Man

This would mean no new Fantastic Four: The First Steps figures. I have never been happier to see a set of figures I will never buy. This means we are getting those new MCU F4 figures, and I am very excited about them.
The Maximum Hulk is underwhelming for me. I don't own a comic Hulk, and I was thinking of picking up this figure. But then I found out most of the body is reused from the 80th-anniversary Hulk, and that turned me off. If I ever find him on a discount, I will pick it up. We need that new X-Factor Iceman. The last earth-616 Iceman that we received was back in 2018? The Juggernaut wave one from 2016, acting as my placeholder, has terrible gummy joints. Either on a retro card or as a deluxe with an ice slide. Just don't cast him in that gummy plastic.

I can't imagine being someone who buys the hundred-dollar+ + figures. Even though I indulge infrequently in ThreeZero products, a once 200-ish transformer will be what now, 300+? That's bonkers, the repercussions outside of the toy collecting (ya know, talking real world(American haha) problems) is already going to be disastrous. See y'all when half the toy companies are cooked.
Especially with Hasbro strongly hinting that the collector lines will be the ones taking any price increases as to try and keep the kid lines affordable for families.

Yeah, i wonder why EE is the one with the higher price this time...?
