This is "Maximum series". What we want will now be in the "Definitive series." I'll remember to give you the naming credit when that line comes out lol.

All jokes aside I at least hope this Hulk's green matches one of the previous releases. That way we can at least use one of the old head sculpts.

It probably won't

Legs with pins, 85% reuse. So, Spider-Man gets a brand-new sculpt with new articulation, and the Hulk gets something he should have included years ago (being able to do the thunderclap effect) and toe articulation. Great job, Hasbro! This is the worst 'definitive' take on a character.

I would have bought this figure if everything was brand-new. I wouldn't even have minded the fugly heads. But right now, this is a huge pass. Especially considering how expensive collecting legends is nowadays.

This set was designed and sculpted well over a year ago, so it's commitment to the production pipeline has long been locked in, but that still begs the question: who signed off on this??The sculpts and proportions are iffy and the paint sure doesn't help. I think the heads look horrendous, and I'm not sure whose sensibilities they are trying to appease. This is NOT the most appealing look the Hulk has ever had--there are earlier versions with a lot more eye-grab to them. Now, Hasbro could not foresee the current market-climate, but THIS set--as is--looks like it was going to be a tough sell from the get-go. With the tariff crisis unfolding right now, and prices slapping upwards, this set is a worrying bet to be shelf-glue.But that's not the worst of it.If Hasbro and the retailers want any of the following sets to move from now on, they are going to have to offer really top-notch product. Like really GOOD sculpts and exceptional paint and smart accessories, and not some half-thought-out, sorta/kinda accessories. The kind of stuff we have genuinely always wanted. This is NOT a good intersection for this brand to be in because value-for-the-dollar is going to be THE major buying consideration going forward, and if collectors are not intrigued enough to buy, retailers will not order more. This is how a brand dies.

I honestly considered that these Hulk head sculpts (if not the entire figure) may have been an April fools prank when it was announced on April 1st. They look intentionally bad. How could this figure not be a prank? This is not a good-looking figure. But, with each passing day, it seems more and more likely that this is the actual figure that Hasbro will try to sell.

Also, it's important to keep in mind the potential tariffs. If the current proposed tariffs are enforced for an extended period of time, this figure could end up costing buyers over $100.

Still too much for me, but $49.99 is a much more respectable price for what you get than $59.99.

Ok, I ordered him. All the criticisms are correct, but for 60 I'm OK. AndyL is 100 % right about him basically being made to do the Hulk clap. The reason I'm getting him is because I've always wanted a Hulk that could do the coolest Hulk move! Idk, I might change my mind and cancel later, but right now I wanted to lock mine in if he sells out, which Hulks often do.
